  1. The stickers indicate that the project is from B&M. http://www.screamscape.com/html/dw_-_2012_10.htm - Sample sticker from Dollywood's 2012 B&M.
  2. THESE have arrived at the park! Looks like we're getting a B&M.
  3. For anyone that wants to see the announcement as it appeared live, clicky: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wl3WXVMIVJs
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySw3JyJK-bQ Looks like they've added these commercials in addition to the "Fun & Only" ones. Also funny how throughout the entire commercial, only 3 rides are shown from the actual park.
  5. Here's a small update: http://www.cwmania.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&p=41570#p41570 Yellow stakes by Planet Snoopy, red ones by Vortex, the occasional blue one as well. Wouldn't they be using orange ones if there was a ride coming?
  6. There was a hardware failure with the hosting company. Could be down for a few more days. I've been hinting for a while that they should switch hosts but that has yet to happen. Since the site is down, we have no new pictures to post from this weekend at this time.
  7. Alright, so, more interesting news. It appears that there are MORE markers than in the Planet Snoopy area. Again, photos courtesy of CWMania! For anyone that has been to the park, these stakes are in the lake by Vortex. . The red markers and the yellow markers aren't even close to eachother. So, they could probably something completely separate. Hit up the link for MORE pictures! http://www.cwmania.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=40577#p40577
  8. Let's not forget that 2011 is the park's 30th anniversary.
  9. Thanks to the folks over at CWMania for the pictures: http://www.cwmania.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=40526#p40526 Survey stakes are already up and they have a backhoe on site & ready to go. There's also markers on trees. Since the markers are already up, this is probably going to be another big addition to the park. These markers are up much earlier than they were with Behemoth.
  10. Canada's Wonderland just announced that Hanna-Barbera Land as well as Nickelodeon Central are being replaced with Planet Snoopy. 3 new rides are coming as well as a Snoopy on ice show. http://www.canadaswonderland.com/events/ev...42&ec_id=12
  11. Behemoth commercial: Diamondback commercial:
  12. http://www.cwmania.com/photos/displayimage...=128&pos=63 http://www.cwmania.com/photos/displayimage...=128&pos=64 http://www.cwmania.com/photos/displayimage...=128&pos=66 There's some pictures of Behemoth's lights. You can also see the lights in action with this short video: http://www.flickr.com/photos/clewis4u91/2441800167/
  13. I love sitting in the back on Behemoth. It just feels so amazing to be literally whipped over the hills (lift hill undoubtedly the best).
  14. I'm assuming that Behemoth and Diamondback have the same trains. On Behemoth, if you sit in the front left of any car, you can see a little section cut out with some lights in it. There should be 5 lights, the 4 to the left are for each restraint. So if you're sitting in the front left, the first light should illuminate when the restraint is down enough. If it's not, it won't light up. Someone maybe check this out and see if there's any truth to this with Diamondback. EDIT: After some Behemoth riding today (12 rides), I snapped a picture to help explain what I mean. http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/5219/3492...704aba6667o.jpg
  15. I'd like to know this as well. I have not been on Diamondback (I'm in Canada) but I do prefer it's layout to Behemoth. From what I've read, Behemoth has the better seating arrangements (no assigned seating) and the trims are lighter. It'd be nice to hear from someone that's been on both rides.
  16. Definitely follow this! Wear a shirt or something with a button up front pocket and throw your phone/keys in there. I don't really carry a wallet so keeping all my cards in my pocket is alright but anything big like keys or a phone, you'll want to put it somewhere else. It's quite uncomfortable.
  17. Sorry to hear that man. Behemoth is the same way and it's quite unfortunate. I can fit on Behemoth but just barely. Sometimes I have to ram the restraint in to me, and sometimes I don't have to and it's fine. I see people bigger than me make it on the ride without issue. It is all in the thighs.
  18. Speaking of new signs... Here's Canada's Wonderland's old sign: http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p205/pc.../DSCF2004-1.jpg And here is the (somewhat) new, Cedar Fair sign: http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd17/Be...ictures0002.jpg
