I'm wondering if the train will make it on the haunt roster for next year. I thought it would be cool if they expanded on the Mystic Timbers story and had a live show right by the old western town.

As far as I am aware, they could technically use the same exact route on the train Haunt, and just use the new exit/entrance as the walk back. Unless for some reason MT is now blocking the old entrance to the walk through. Seems like a cool opportunity to mix the two!

drink wristbands are generally sold with special (promotional) types of single-day tickets or to large groups via Group Sales.

If you are a season passholder, all-season drink plans are available either online or at the park. Pricing is subject to change.

I am curious though if the all season drink plan with the disposable cup option will be valid at all CF parks, considering I will be purchasing that plan this year.

Does anyone see something missing from the park map cause I do. Ill give you a hint. check Rivertown. Wonder why this has been removed.

If you are referring to the Crypt building I believe it hasn't been in the park map the past couple of years.

  4. I will go ahead and state this just in case some people don't know whats going on:

Please DO NOT post any pictures or link any pictures of the current construction of RMC Mean Streak unless legally obtained and approved by Cedar Point*

It seems some websites have done so and Cedar Point isn't thrilled, and have gone to the extent to contact said websites in order to get the photos taken down. Which is completely understandable considering most photos were obtained illegally. However, I think I have seen that photos taken during winter chill-out are approved by CP to be posted. I hate being that guy but I'd rather us be safe than sorry! :)

It does seem late to start but its possible this is just a "serving" restaurant and no actually cooking takes place in the facility, meaning there would be much less work to complete.  either way, I have little doubt that the construction schedule has been appropriately laid out and this will open on time.

I'm sure the cooking will be done in said building.

As I have stated before, there is always a 'minimum'(if you will) time frame when constructing something. The quicker you want it done = more people, time, effort = more $. As you can imagine, this also works if you take too long on a project. So imagine the time to cost ratio as a parabola (very loosely). I'm sure KI will get it done in the time frame they want unless something happens in the mean time that could delay the project.

Have they stated when the new Toy Story attractions will open at Hollywood Studios?

It would not surprise me if the name of that park changes between now and the time that Star Wars opens.

If I recall correctly, I heard they want a 2019 opening. I think it came out recently this week. Don't quote me though.

Finally figured out how to block someone. Now i can really enjoy this post without viewing anything from "Mr. Know-it-all".  Dont worry i wont "spam" anymore.

I highlighted a couple of your previous posts in what some consider spam. There were some decent discussion topics you brought up, which I appreciate. However, the random comments that do not make much sense should probably stop. I get it, you are excited. Many of us on this board are. We just enjoy having meaningful, thought-provoking discussions. The ' LOL WAT DID U SEE DAT CONSTRUCTION WERKER MOVE?' is not really needed in this forum.

Pretty much sums up KIC anymore, over my years of being a member I've come to realize that KIC is sort of a "Clique" you either share the same ideas or you're not welcomed. Its partially the reason I don't go to meet ups, my first and last one being Banshee construction behind of scenes tour, and I left early.

No idea how my post makes that assumption at all?

^Every internet forum in the history of forever is like that.

Agreed. In fact, I've come to realize life is just like that.

  9. Just don't wear it into a maze. Seriously.

I'd like to think that monsters are told that the "No Boo" necklaces are rendered ineffective in mazes and scare zones. To wear one to signal to the random walk-around characters, fine. But if you wear a No Boo necklace into a maze you've queued for and the monsters are instructed to respect that, it ruins the maze for everyone around you.

Anyone know the policy on this? If you purchase a No Boo necklace, do they have signage to say "No Boo necklaces don't work past this point" at the entrance to mazes? Do the cashiers mention it? What are the monsters instructed to do when a No Boo necklace comes through the house?

I had a discussion about this recently. I had a friend that went last year and wore her no boo necklace, but did not even consider par-taking in mazes. She simply got it so we could get through scare zones and ride some attractions. However, she wished there was a way for her to go look at the mazes without monsters during the day. This led me to wonder how beneficial a "VIP" experience would be. I would pay a LOT of money to do a day time walk through of a couple houses, and maybe the inclusion of fright lane at night, if you so choose to participate. She told me the daytime walk through alone would be worth the extra dough.

    Just some food for thought

  10. blah blah blah

Glad you have something worth contributing to the discussion here. Someone explains to you why there is not a crane on site and you give a pretty immature response. Unfortunately, materials and construction equipment cannot be 'Amazon-Primed' next day to a work site.

    The instant-gratification generation worries me...

  12. I know it was mentioned last year when we were getting hits about the water park addition and the toll plaza...wouldn't a revamp of the main gate fall under both the 'major' and 'capital' banners in the accounting books?

I would love to see this but they just spent some money on upgrading all the turnstiles ( I guess just gates now?) and adding big TVs as well. I just don't see this happening within at least the next 2-3 years.
