  1. Or it could be a maintenance path, as those are also not on the map. Indeed but most maintenace paths are either straight gravel or asphalt. Why would they spend the extra money to pour that type of concrete? Unless of course it is just gravel and the webcam makes it look like more than such. Not to mention they have landscaped around it. Just speculatin'
  2. Considering it isn't indicated on the park map as a path, I would assume it isn't for anything as of now. One could speculate that it might appear on the map come Haunt time
  3. Anyone else getting a sever error when they try to get on the website? I'm using Safari. EDIT: Tis not a problem any longer
  4. I'm a very blunt person and it comes off as rude so I apologize for being such. All I can do is chuckle.
  5. Didn't you yell at me the other day for breaking the rules? Or do they not apply to you for some reason because you found something cool.
  6. Ditto with Flight Deck, Adventure Express, and maybe ~50% of the rides with music. Others though, like Drop Tower and Invertigo, have their soundtracks synced with the ride. When the cycle starts, so does the music. Some rides in the park have(or had) music that synced with the ride automatically(IE: Crypt). But in the case of The Beast, it was as simple as pushing in a button. Is this the reason why Adventure Express' lights and sound are never consistent on a day to day basis? One could speculate. Unfortunately I'm unfamiliar with AE's system so I couldn't tell you for sure.
  7. And this is somewhat still confirmed by the unofficial* park map that is on their website. *The map on the website currently(that is hidden very well) is an unoffical 2014 park map. The official park map should be released soon. HTCO, becomin' a lawyer…. at least, on here.

  9. It honestly depends if the driver doing start-ups in the morning remembers to turn it on (which is something they should do). Its a minuscule thing that often gets overlooked.
  10. My guess is they are still messing with wheel types so they are keeping them uncovered. The wheel covers on the front two were probably added so Greg and company could ride.
  11. Bracing myself for possibly 'breaking rules' But I found this video on YouTube and figured I post it here unless it was posted pages ago considering the date of this video. Ain't even a month old yet but still a neat video. Video found here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gmIxuxlzEg
  12. Explain to me then why YouTube videos taken of Banshee from OFF property testing were asked to be removed from the site? Even though it was created completely legally. Is it illegal to tape the park from off property? Its more than just links and photos. They have been controlling every little thing. You don't see that being done to lets say, TPR? They have events and such all the time. They post stuff like that all the time. I don't see TPR getting hate from parks? Also, when you cited your papers in school. Did you contact every source you used, and asked if you could use it on your paper? I can guarantee that is a no. Have you ever gone over the speed limit in your car by 1 or 2 mph? Oh you broke the law. Ever casually roll through a stop sign? Ohp. That too. HUGE difference between law, and justice.
  13. Sorry for bringing this back from a page ago, but Terp you are correct. Not 100% correct. Adding on to chugh43, also note that each state has its own set of laws regarding Rides and Attractions. Let alone the United States. That coaster is in Japan… Don't think they are gonna have the same set of rules/regulations that the state of Ohio would have.
  14. In all honesty, 98% of protein spills occur once the train hits the final break run. HTCO, speakin from experience.
  15. I wish you well on your journey! Even thought it might be forbidden.
  16. I'm really starting to like this station. Love the idea of taking a building design that has been around for a long time and adding a modern flair to it. Brilliant, and artistic. Yet very subtle.
  17. Anyone remeber the Ride Warrior forums… I agree with his statement 100%. This forum is starting to get taken over a bit in my opinion…
  18. If we are talking next for Cedar Point, I predict something over on the Mean Streak side of things. Wither it be topper track, complete RMC overhaul, Shinny new B&M, intacrap, who knows. Its really all a guessing game at this point.
  19. All rides in the park allow you to bring food/beverage (excluding alcoholic beverages) through the queue line. To be even more particular guests are suppose to discard all food and beverages before entering the station. However, most ops are very lenient with this rule. That is unless you make a mess.
  20. Looks like half of the helix is complete. Literally in the final stretch now.
  21. Anyone else hear the guy in the video say that 'the roofing shingles and siding of the station will be done by the first week of February'? Or maybe my ears are deciding me… I don't know much about scheduling for such things but it seems like they are way ahead of the ball game.
  22. What most of us do is post it on a third party site (like photo bucket) and just copy and paste the IMG code into the reply. Works like a charm every time.
  23. The other large support for the second loop is going up!
  24. Man… They are straight HAULING it today.
  25. Anyone remember when the IJ:ST had yellow track in the renderings? Things happen without warning, and I think this was one of those moments.
