  1. If yesterday was any indication of the pace for the week, I expect today to be a good one.
  2. Can we call the black and yellow one bumblebee?
  3. And now it looks like a crane is positioned at the bottom of the first drop to possibly place a piece of track in?
  4. Track is in place. Plot twist: It just misses the existing support by a couple feet EDIT:
  5. Bro you need to grow up and realize that Intamin's are not the only coasters in the world that provide ejector air. And since when did that define a good coaster or not? Isn't this thread about B&M Banshee trains? Thats what we should probably be talking about then.
  6. If I owned my own amusement park, I know that I would never buy an Intamin for my park... But thats if I was a park owner, and I am not. In my eyes, roller coasters are simply roller coasters. If I like it, then I'm gonna ride it. No matter the manufacturer. And I think about 98% of park goers would do the same.
  7. Are you going to create a final video once track is completed?
  8. I was thinking the same exact thing... EDIT: Seems like an optical illusion. I drew a line from the base of the "first" lift hill track piece, lined it up, and kept going with it and this is the result: Looks like B&M actually knows what they are doing.
  9. Seems like they are taking that rather large lift hill track by the transfer, and hooking it up to Clifford.
  10. Weeps. Sorry ya'll. Didn't have time to screen shot it and edit it and post to photobucket and blah blah, so I just posted a link real quick.
  11. Looks like they are starting on the second section of the lift... Web Cam
  12. Anyone else notice that the smaller black crane has disappeared?
  13. Looks to be 45 degree angle of ascent. No one will have the actual angle of ascent, unless they obtain the CAD drawings. It could be 41.345 degrees for all we know.
  14. I'd consider a small coaster 0'-125' and/or under 50mph...
  15. From previous observation, they typically work with lower portions first, then work their way up. As an example: If it was just one hill, the would start at the lowest points on each side of the hill, working there way up both sides until they meet at the top. If I were a betting man, I would bet they will start with the lower portion of the first drop and and lower portion of the loop before they continue work on the lift segment. But I'm not a betting man and thats fine. I've been wrong before.
  16. The fact they put a Surf Dog in Cedar Point is hilarious. Have fun with that one Cedar Point.
  17. If they are done by mid-november with track, then bricks will be shat.
  18. I officially have lost faith in the enthusiast community. Why, on Gods green earth, would they do that.
  19. I do enjoy Gatekeeper... However, coming right out of the first corkscrew into the keyhole, I have noticed a 'pump' sort of feeling that the train does. It feels like the train is shaking back and forth. It's very odd, and I don't remember it doing that the first couple weeks it opened. The problem could be a structural thing or a train thing, but I don't like it.
  20. back in the 90s b&m and intamin did work together. I remember hearing somewhere that Bolliger or Mabillard worked for Intamin then left/got fired and created their own company. Or it was the other way around.
