  1. KI goes hard with this site. Post one little thing and you're gone. It would benefit employees and KIC if this idea/topic did not exist.
  2. its hush hush when B&M coasters have problems... It's funny because the 2009 accident on Son of Beast was for someone who had a brain bleed 2 weeks after and Son of Beast gets shutdown indefinitely / demolished, then you get dominator a b&m coaster that arrives in station with a unresponsive passenger that had a brain aneurism who ends up dead, and they look the other way... Every situation is different. Some people choose to ride with pre-existing medical condition(which is clearly labeled at every rides entrance and exit(CF)), and some ride and get hurt from the actual ride. Also, parks don't really care about which coaster manufacture it is. No park anywhere wants that kind of publicity.
  3. This topic makes me lol. But for real could you imagine if Intamin were to just disappear? "Wonder is this gonna be a B&M or....." "Yea its a B&M"
  4. There are some slight rumors that Universal Orlando will be doing a slender maze this year. A lot of that rumor is coming from the "root of evil" fake blog that they have been doing for quite a while now. Ill get a link to it shortly. Well, they've already got one house based on an "Urban Legend" with La Llorona, but I heard the Resident Evil franchise might get the HHN treatment; Universal Japan debuted a scare zone and house based off the video games last year. So far, the confirmed attractions include Cabin in the Woods, Evil Dead, The Walking Dead, Urban Legends: La Llorona, Havoc: Derailed, and After Life: Death's Vengeance. Another new house is being announced in just two hours from now, and that's rumored to be based off the film American Werewolf in London. Yup! Personally I love the blog, and think its more so related to the "Cabin in the Woods" franchise more than any other maze they have announced. Here is the HHN Orlando "Evil Takes Root" teaser blog. (Start from the beginning, and watch all the videos. Kinda freaky) And here is the HHN Website.

  6. Unfortunately it will not be an inclosed queue. It has been discussed here before that that will indeed be a gift shop of some sort. Also, there will be an elevator somewhere along side the station to get restricted mobility on the ride. The queue is guesstimated to be towards the left side of that image. Inbetween the station and the lower part of the loop into the zero-g roll.
  7. You can make your own sounds ya know...
  8. I'm very happy these restraints are similar to the wing riders. Very open and no head banging makes for a fantastic ride experience.
  9. Trim brake or no trim brake, this ride is going to be awesome. Lets say it has one. Do you think we are really gonna notice it that much? I for one don't think we will see one but you know. I've been wrong before.
  10. Never said go to the park and get yourself arrested. If I told everyone to go jump off a bridge. Would you do it? There is a line. Y'all crossed it.
  11. Just shows how idiotic and crazy some of you are.. I post one little thing and literally everyone poops themselves...
  12. Tuskin is indeed right. Never right to put words in my mouth and assume I saw something ground breaking. Or did I? Someone knows. They should spill the beans. Because I'm not the one doing it.
  13. Did we see Gatekeeper track in July?
  14. Has anyone thought of the possibility that Mantis at Cedar Point is getting an overhaul. New Paint, Trains, maybe a new station. With the new name "Banshee"? Oh wait sorry. Banshee was only trademarked for KI right?
  15. My experience with it wasn't too bad. I'm about 6' 155lbs. It didn't 'hurt' me but it was noticeable. My guess is since the vest on Gatekeeper is so light, its easier to get it down farther. Plus the device that tightens it is located towards the top of the seat. The vests on Firehawk work similar but since the vest on Firehawk is so thick and the locking device for them is located towards the bottom of the seat, it has a harder time of tightening.
  16. To defend myself from earlier: My favorite steel coaster is Raptor... so to say I hate inverts is simply... No. I was saying, literally every single B&M invert has a loop, zero g roll, cobra roll, maybe a dive loop, couple corkscrews, then a helix. I love B&M's and I love inverts. But you can not sit here and tell me that they are unpredictable. And if ya don't believe me, go through this list and look at the 'elements' portion of each ride. http://rcdb.com/r.htm?ot=2&ml=6717
  17. Oh you mean like every other invert ever?
  18. Diamondback doesn't have a turnstile. The driver counts empty seats and there is a capacity record for the whole day on the panel view. I just like how Diamondback gets criticized for having a "slow crew" when they have beaten the manufacturers max capacity more than once.
  19. Diamondbacks theoretical capacity is 1600. Last year the crew hit 1655.
  20. I'm sick and tired of you Young Stud. No matter how much you complain it still won't change anyone else's opinion. Come back to the park and watch the crew. They are not the "mindless zombies" you think they are. Quit the crap and someone lock this thread before I flip a lid.
  21. I noticed today the "scarecrow" by the gate has shoes...
  22. Was just at the park and it seemed like the park had a bit of a power surge. Invertigo, and Diamondback were stuck on the lift, and a bunch of other rides were down with people. Anyone know anything?
  23. Any water ride manufacturer that have boats that fit the trough, and that don't have a potential sinking issue with said boats.
  24. Intmain: Guyz I will build U a Nice Log Flumez Cedar Point: YAYYZ Intmain: Herez u go!!!! Cedar Point: wait... The boats doesn't fit gooby... Intmain: Weeps. Sawwie. This is how STR went down.
