i have been a auto body repair and refinishing tech for 16 years and fiberglass can be repaired easy and be as strong as it was and the cars was probly made in 2 parts to start with and then put together in the same way you repair it if they was made at one time it would be hard to get them out of a mold

fiberglass is very easy to repair and is cheap to do i know that is what i do
