  1. I know, most people think its corny. But I think its awesome. I loved Stargate (the movie) since it came out, and SG1 and Atlantis are just continuations of it. I like Star Wars and Star Trek, but I am not big fans of them - they are OK. But I do like Stargate. Each person has their own little wierd thing, and this is mine. I read an online rumor that SFKK will be getting Stargate SG-3000 - a simulator ride by 2008. I would like to see a Stargate coaster though...
  2. I would think that they are two seperate things. Scifi is not affiliated with paramount as far as I know. And isnt route 666 the tiques made spooky (i dont know, i never been to a fearfest before). Its just a drive through haunted house i think. Route 666 was about wierd stuff happenign to these people driving through the desert. I didnt watch it, cause except for stargate sg1 and atlantis, scifi seems incapable of making anything cool.
  3. The only flat I care about is scooters. I could ride that for eternity! Also I want to ride Gun and Vortex a lot more. I might do a night ride on The Beast if I feel spooky. But right now Im planning on saving Beast, SOB, Face Off, FOF, Delirium and Drop Zone for next season. But like I said, if im feeling bold, I might ride one of them this season (probably Beast). I work 12-6 every Saturday, so Im hoping to go up after work from 7-12 and ride stuff. I have the 30th off for my 21st BIRTHDAY!!! Ill give you three guesses to guess where I will be that day, from 10am to 12am, but you're only going to need one!
  4. No, the fountains were removed some time ago. They replaced them with metal sidewalk panels that randomly flip over sending the occasional unsuspecting guest into a big shark tank. However PKI forgot to feed the sharks, and they all died, so the attraction is now SBNO. So dont worry!
  5. As Im sure you all know, I am fairly new to PKI. I checked past posts and didn't find anything, so Im going to ask what may seem like a dumb question. What rides operate during fearfest? I know the waterpark will be closed, but what about Vortex, SOB, Beast, FOF, Top Gun, Flying Eagles, Delirium and all those other normal rides? I am planning on going back every Saturday, if its not just haunted houses, but if they have rides going. Thanks a lot!
  6. I think Top Gun is awesome. Its not as good as Vortex, but still it is very fun.
  7. What do you do when someone takes your seat? Are the seat numbers random or is there a reason/method for doing them?
  8. Delirium has a belt that connects from the seat to the OTSRs right? Like I said I was able to ride Runaway Reptar. Do you have any idea how big they are in comparison? I dont think it will be a problem, but I was just wondering. Is anybody else going to ride or work at Delirium tomorrow toward park open?
  9. Youre right on that, you definately go faster and rougher in the back! I just dont like riding there cause all you see is the person in front of you, especially on TG. The track and all that stuff are above you, the car is below you, and somebodys head is in front of you. So in the front I think its a little more intense, visually. But I do ride in the back on AE because there is a noticible difference in the experience - and the front is kind of boring when you have done it as many times as I have. I was also wondering, do you get to pick your seat on DZ, or is it assigned like on Delirium?
  10. This might sound like a dumb question, but its not since I never rode FOF (Im saving it till next year so I can have some new rides to look forward to - FOF, SOB, Beast, TRTR). But does FOF have different stations for load and unload? And does anybody know what it looks like inside if you were able to see the track? And staying on topic, why do they always play Bombs over Baghdad at that racing game by the entrance to FOF, where you walk under The Racer? Seems like a strange song for a kids game.
  11. Never mind, I went to the Delirium Page under thrill rides in the attraction guide on this site, and on the picture that loads theres someone my size, maybe a little bigger, riding it. So I should be fine. To be sure I am going to try one of those seats right outside the queue. Usually theres some dumb kid sitting in it waiting for his friend or family member to get done riding it. Its not there to give guests a break from standing - its for people like me (or tall people) to make sure they can ride. Well Ill be there at park open in the Action Zone tomorrow. Probably start out on TG, then goto DZ and if I can handle DZ, Ill ride Delirium. See you there!
  12. I was wondering how big the restraints are at Delirium, Drop Zone and Tomb Raider. I have done quite a few rides in the last few weeks, but I was hoping to do DZ and Delirium tomorrow. Im pretty big (heavy) though. To give you a reference, I do fit on Rugrats Runaway Reptar, but barely. I also found The Racers to be pretty tight. I there is plenty of slack on the belt to get it on, but the lap bar only clicks once on me. But TG, Vortex, AE, Fliers, Runaway Reptar - I fit on all of those. So do you think I can ride DZ and Delirium? I know I saw a woman on DZ who looked a quite a bit heavier than me. But I have never seen a big person on Delirium. PS - Weight does come in handy on some rides - Fliers is AWESOME, and snapping is crazy. Plus on any of the slides at BB, I pull some Gs! Like down under thunder, I got in my slide a few seconds before my friend got in his, and I came out like five seconds before he did. And when me and my friends rode Tasmanian Typhoon, we bumped into something, I think we hit the water pipes at the top. Thanks!
  13. I personally like to sit in the front. It seems the forces aren't as extreme, but it makes up for it in the way that there is NOTHING in front of you. Just air and track! I think that makes the front the most fun seat on the train. If I can choose, I always like to sit (in the front) but on the side that is toward the exit. I get on, skip the first seat and get on the other one. I guess you could call it the drivers side, even though there is no driving! But the only time I dont ride the front is if there is such a crowd that I dont feel like waiting the extra time for it.
  14. I know different people have different preferences for where they sit on a Roller Coaster. Where do you like to sit?
  15. Thats what I was thinking cause there must be people out there who are WAY better than me. I just walked in and started shooting! It is a fun game though.
  16. Thanks for clearing that up - it had me rather confused. I thought, this is PKI not 20CFKI! But I was headed for the ET so I could get on top before the fireworks, but I didnt make it. I just barely made it in queue before the line closed. Well seeing as they play music from other studios, would they theme a ride from a movie from another studio? I would LOVE to ride a Stargate coaster! I know SFKK has plans in the next few years for Stargate SG-3000 - probably something like Scooby and the Haunted Castle. But I want a Stargate coaster!

    Best Flat

Nothing beats the Scooters! I havent had anybody complain about me snapping yet but I havent done it a lot. I dont snap when there are a lot of little kids on the ride, out of respect. But when the other snappers take over, and you can pick them out, I get on and snap like a pro - or at least try to. I get really high, and when I snap, I SNAP! Probably has to do with my weight - I am rather heavy.
  18. Q---> Where is the Eiffel Tower at? A---> You gotta be kidding! Q---> I know the park JUST closed and everything, but can I still get in queue? A---> Nope!
  19. Do they reset the scores every day on Ghosthunter in the Arcade with all the Skeeball games and Iceball? I got the top three high scores today - my initials are ACK. I am going to see if they are still there Monday. I dont think Im THAT good at it that I beat everybody who has ever played it. They must reset the scores. I got 55 ghosts in a row one one game! Also I noticed that next to the Iceball games, theres one where you do the same thing but knock over these bug things and they say "Now Youre Buggin Me" or "You Bashed Me". Well if you put your token in, it spits out like ten tickets before you even roll the ball! So after using seven bucks of tokens I got 245 tickets (just doing Iceball, the Bug thing and Ghosthunter).
  20. I went again today for two hours and rode Top Gun twice, once in day and once at night. That brings me up to four times on TG! I didnt ride Vortex cause I wanted to do the fliers. I went on but didnt want to snap because there were a lot of little kids on the ride, and yesterday I snapped so hard that a kid on the other side of the ride was affected. So I didnt snap but I went REALLY high. I rode the Congo Falls at the end cause it was pretty hot and humid today. But I am planning on spending the whole day there on Monday.
  21. They were playing something at about 9:45 tonight, it sounded like the Independence Day theme, but that wouldnt make sence since its 20th Century Fox.
  22. I heard the Star Trek First Contact theme and the Truman Show theme. I also once heard Taras Theme from Gone with the Wind. I didnt recognize the one they were playing today.
  23. Happy Birthday! Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag!
  24. I am officially over my coasterphobia!!!!! I went to PKI today, and me and my grandma went around the park and looked at the rides. Then we went down to the Fliers to see what all this commotion is about. I didn't want to ride them, since I was afraid of theme park rides. But she said I should and it would be good for me. I rode it three times! The first time I just held the rudder straight. But the second time I practiced that snapping thing everybody was talking about. The third time I got it right. I went really high - it seemed like I went at least as high as the top of the rotating arms. Then I dropped and snapped so hard a kid on the other side of the ride spontaneously dipped down and got a mouthfull of the bushes that go around the perimeter of the ride (i'm pretty heavy). Then I rode Adventure Express, which I have always been fine with. Then I went on the Rugrats Runaway Reptar to kick it up a notch. It is a good ride to ride at least once. Then I went over and rode Top Gun for the first time and it was awesome. I rode it a second time right after that. I was blown away by the awesomeness of it, and I decided to tackle the one coaster that has made me sick from just looking at it - Vortex. I got on it, in the front seat by myself, and I rode the entire thing with my arms in the air. It was great fun! AE used to be my favorite ride but now I think that Vortex is. I didn't ride Flight of Fear or Beast or Son of Beast because I ran out of time. But I walked into the park as a big time coasterphobe, and left looking forward to Monday, when I'm next off work and can come back and ride FOF and SOB. Ill also ride all those other ones again, except for Rugrats. But I can't believe how much fun I had once I stopped psyching myself out and actually rode them. It's Awesome!!! PS - After getting off Vortex, I looked a lot like my avatar!
  25. The flyers are still there. I did some snapping today for the first time!
