Phantom Theater

Well it seems that they used to be yellow and now their green.Does anyone know waht color they were last year?

PFFF I think not! They didn't just turn the train around for "fair raceing" or "old style". They did it for maintenance cost and insurance, its all about the money. I say on slow days you will only see one side running. I stand behind my words 100%. I think theirs a reason why its called RACER.

Ok,while we were done getting our pass i went around the proccesing to peek through the fence and Drop Towers old sign was still up,Invertigos train looked different.Then we sat and watched some rides test and I only saw The Vortex,The Racer,and fairly Odd Coaster.The Vortex tested about a billion times,and saw the Recar,but of course it was turned around!

Me and my mom are on our way now to get our pass made!! Gold Pass(I think)

Does anyone think that the Chippewa Lake Tumble Bug could be saved and brought to KI or CP?Maybe even Coney Island or Strickers Grove?Could the Tumble Bugs make a come back,they could improve by making it faster,less noiseir,and less running cost.Tumble bugs look fun and they need to come back!The one at Chippewa is in very bad shape. http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=htt...3US264%26sa%3DN

I still havent seen any photos of Flight Decks sign?Even openinig day at other parks,no one has shown a pic of flight decks.Im really intreiged about what it will look like.

I have a question from my last post on here,If you look at the date of when BEAST1979 post that it says "mar 30 2034",why does it say 2034?

On Topgun1993's video (Winter SOAR 2008) it said that their removing some rows of seats for a more balanced gondala, for more spins!

What about the Phantoms.You know Phantom Theater, maybe at night they come to life and try to break into SDATHC to take it back over but they cant because that darn metal gate always blocks them!

From the sites ive seen Ive been told it was a maitnence plauge.I also think we should get El Dorado,on wiki it says those types of rides ar no longer available.

My mom was working at KI then,but not the day it happened.But when she went back to work she was terrified that she would be stationed at the tower,and a couple weeks later she was,and said she heard whispers in her ear!

Im sure that CF will at least sell it to someone,but not across seas.(I hope)or they could sell it to coney!

Yeah,I would hate to see the Big Dipper demolished.I loved that coaster.

Ok how about a new part of this Topic: What was your first amusement park? Mine was Lesourdsville Lake,but I dont remember much then.I went in 1998.Also keep posting what your first coaster was too.

Wasnt there 2 scooby-doo coasters at KI.One is the fairly odd coaster and the other is now little bills giggle coaster My frist coaster was also Scooby Doo at Kings Island 1978 or 1979. Kings Island has had 3 coasters named Scooby Doo the one you forgot was the Scooby's Ghoster Coaster. Well I meant just the name "Scooby-Doo"

My friend ben rode The Vortex when he was around 6 or 7 and that was his 1st coaster,and his leg got stuck in the automatic gates,so they gave him & his mom free tickets,and now hes absolutely scared of coasters!

You might be a KI addict if you go 3 hours before they open and wait till they open the gates.

Is their going to be an opening day meetup?KDconnection had one.

yes,very true.If they threw them in the trash I would have Dumpster dived and got one of the figures!
