  1. I've only lived here for 10 years. For the first year or so it was exciting, to have a theme park within driving distance and it was so cool to see the rides being built before my eyes. Nowadays, meh, no real excitement.
  2. 20 minutes. 15 if i hit the lights right.
  3. Does that still apply if you WORK for that company?
  4. Dumb question: If your company has a company day at the park, but you have a gold pass, do you still have to buy a company ticket to the park? Or is it somehow possible to get in with your gold pass if you show ID proof? My family was arguing about that today cause we were considering going to GE day.
  5. I just joined. How long does it take to get confromation so I can get the text alert as well?

  7. Add me to the list of people who freak out when a cicada comes near them. We went to the park today, but only made it onto the BLSC because the invasion was so bad. Those suckers creep me out big time!!
  8. Go if you wish. Personally, i'm freaked of heights and i've seen the ride get stuck at the very top, so i'll never go on it again. But people seem to love it and from what others have said, it's safe.
  9. I've seen many people walking around in Bikini tops, but today, I saw two girls, no older than 16, walking around in tiny bikini's in the main park, carrying their shoes. Is that even allowed in the main park?? Maybe to some a bikini is considered 'clothing', as in a top and bottoms so it's ok to wear it. Seriously people, cover up.
  10. I went to Summerfair and found it to be a bit too expensive for my taste. Only thing I could afford to buy was Kettle Korn. Things that are $50+ is not my idea of a craft fair, even if the things are hand-made. I was sad that the classic rides weren't operating, nor were the paddle boats. Not really worth it, imo.
  11. I wasn't around there for too long today (only really had time for one ride and a kiddie-land walk-through), but the water park was closed, The Crypt was closed and the sign in the front of the park said that many rides were not operational. I would expect that maybe around 4 or 5pm, some rides may open up once more staff gets out of school. But I waited about 20 minutes for Backlot Stunt Coaster, but there were still lots of schools there. By next week most high schools should be done and more rides will be opened up then, I imagine.
  12. I like to sit in the very back for most rides, except for The Beast. I've learned that in order for me not to get thrown around and jolted, I need to sit in the middle of the train, middle car, middle seat. That is the smoothest ride.
  13. My thoughts exactly. Other people besides whole families do go to the park. I go with my parents, why not make "2 or more people" meal deals??
  14. Drop Zone SOB Monster and Scrambler (they make me sick with how much they spin) The Crypt (blood rushing to my head made me light-headed every time I rode it)
