  1. It wouldn't be as annoying if he just PM users as apposed to taking away from discussion like right now.
  2. I believe that the second drop is the steepest drop.
  3. The only thing keeping me from being all in is that I'm in a Spring Sport. But it looks like now that It's over at 2 I can make it back in time to make the match.
  4. Personally I prefer the Point over KI. I am more of a Roller Coaster kind of person and CP seems more "real". KI is a place that you know(with a few exceptions) are at most no older than the early 70's so it feels very fake and made up by a corporation in little over 40 years. CP with the Lagoons, historical architecture, beach, lake, history, and other old-timey quirks well over a century over many families and owners make CP have a real feel too it. KI is my home park and will always have that place in my life and like said before it does have more of a homey feel and a place to hang out. Probably one of my favorite moments in my entire life is when I was 11 years old and I gazed upon MF, Raptor, TTD, Mantis, and MXL200 all in the same line of sight made me feel like 5 Christmas' while seeing your favorite Rock star all at the same time.
  5. I've thought this for years but then I gave up. CP has the resort, the beach and many other aspects that put CP over KI not just in the Roller Coaster category. Even if KI does get more/ better coasters than CP they are still short of what makes CP the park it is. KI has it's many great aspects but in it's own way.
  6. I kind of like the video. I think that anyone that is considered a roller coaster enthusiast is bunched together into the "Trekkie" stereotype that came together in the 70's that is used as a label to all fan bases. And in many cases those are true.
  7. I've worked in construction/ landscaping before and I would find it very odd if people on a website monitored every bit of work we did. I know it's very exiting to watch the ride come to life Just keep in mind these are just people with jobs that have lives outside of building this ride.
  8. I did too, but I felt if was a new era and time to move on even though I did like Son of Beast.
  9. My guess is that they had to make a decision on whether to work Sunday or Monday or work Saturday the next week so they could still work a five day week.
  10. ^^Usually for events like Holi-Wood Nights and Coastermania there is a $20 Membership fee requirement. I would recommend going for the $20 membership, It's only $5 more, The Streak is pretty cool to have, and It gets you into more events. ^ GOCC and CoasterBuzz are good starters, it's a good value and gets you into plenty of local coaster events. ACE and TPR are good if you want to expand the amount of coaster events you want to attend but are a little pricey. Though personally I don't like the leaders, or in the case of TPR Dictator for Life, of either Club.
  11. Just go this in the Mail Yesterday. Just crossing my fingers GOCC is one of the Clubs going to Media Day.
  12. Reds Opening Day is a little bit bigger deal than KI's. It also affects more people and business than KI does far beyond Cincinnati.
  13. Maybe Don should come out of retirement and see if he would be interested in Playing in a game? Hmm?
  14. I know this might be more out of the way that what you guys suggested but I say we can meet up in Downtown Cincinnati. The Cyclones are in town that weekend so we could catch a game and eat somewhere at the banks beforehand.
  15. I still have this weekend free. Anyone want to do a small meet-up in that area?
  16. ^ Don just changed it to a Cornerstone-friendly look.
  17. We'll forever remain confined to the webcam and passenger pick-up. And by forever I mean opening day.
  18. Don't mean to pull a YoungStud but that's kind of the reason why Alpengiest is a lacking invert.
  19. I would love to not have to bring my phone but I still have to answer to my parents and they want to know were I am. However there will be a day where I will be wallet only.
  20. Raptor is also the reason CW wound up with an SLC and not a B&M.
  21. Or how about having a large arrow pointing at the Eiffel Tower saying HERE IT IS. The amount of people who have asked me where the Eiffel Tower is astonishes me.
  22. If a new major ride is opening on that day then the new ride will be packed but the rest of the park will be moderate. If there is no new ride then the park will be unreasonably crowded. And if the trend continues then KIC will have a pretty awesome meet up that day. But Banshee will most likely keep it from being as big.
  23. Same thing with hats. As long as you're willing to wear a snapback without shame.
  24. Cargo shorts my fellow riders. REALLY REALLY DEEP cargo shorts.
  25. If you want to see a small scale test of "older" music being implemented in the park look no further that The Racer's station music. The music being played in the station ranges from the mid 50's to the mid 80's and has had major popularity across all age groups. It's really impressive to see people who rode The Racer in 72' all the way to people who will ride it for the first time all sing along to "I Love Rock and Roll" as the wait in line. Also keep in mind that Teenagers may be a target audience but that does not mean that they spent the most money. Teens have a season pass their parents bought them and don't spend much beyond that. Young families spend the most money because they usually are on a one-time visit so they in turn play the games, eat the food and buy the souvenirs.
