Former supervisor for Dinosaurs Alive! Here. You are correct. All the Dinosaurs Alive! Animatronics were leased from a company that was based in Canada. The dinos themselves were very hard to maintain. The park would have to call the company and have someone from the parent company come out for repairs which didn't happen often due to price if I remember correctly (at least from what I was told so take that with a grain of salt because how much of that would be true and told to a seasonal associate). Squirrels loved to make nests inside of the dinos and would wreak havoc on the internal wiring. Honestly working the attraction was my absolute favorite time while working at the park. The seats for me poked me in the legs as I sat there. Just sitting there it was painful but as the ride was going (for me at least) it felt like the pain subsided for me. I'm not sure if I just got used to it or if while riding, the forces resituated me better into the seat. I actually got off the ride feeling like it was lackluster. I had it to be more intense on the g-forces in my head than what it really was. I'm glad I rode it but for me it's probably not something I will ride all that frequently. Definitely not in the summer with the long lines. I had only a one cycle wait during winterfest (only cause they closed the gate just before I got up to it while they were loading). I could see myself getting on it if thr wait is very minimal but I don't really see that happening often wjth the low capacity. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I could see a zamperla multi launch going in if top thrill 2 works. I'm not so sure of an rmc any more due to multiple of their rides having reliability issues. I just hope that whatever goes in that spot eventually will be as photogenic as Vortex. I just realized this hasn't been posted on here yet. This was posted on King's Dominion's youtube channel but it's the same video as Kings Island. This is the "newer" full video as it doesn't talk about the outer limits name. A few lines of dialog were changed when the alien would talk when the outer limits name was dropped which can be seen in the shorter video version. However this has the prank and everything in it. I've got a really dumb question... Mostly cause I've never tried renewing this early. If I renew my pass now, will I still have my current drink package available until the end of Winterfest and then it just goes away (I have the paper cup version) or will I have to buy a new one as well if I want it for Winterfest? I have to admit... Tonight was the first night I actually got to see the show in person and it completely blew me away. Watching a video of it doesn't do it justice. Reading everyone's reviews makes me feel good about trying to ride it... I've always wanted to ride Racer and Beast but I have a bad back and have always been nervous about trying to ride them cause I don't wanna be in pain afterwards lol. Think I just might have to get my first ride in on It this season. I know my limits and have always stuck to them but at the same time I've always felt like I've been missing out on these classic coasters glad to hear the retrack has made it smoother... Just got out of chicken shack after waiting an hour....... They didn't have the spicy chicken sandwich but they did have wings which I didn't know they had.... I know it would never happen but I personally would love to see a rapter or t-rex track coaster in Vortex's spot. I doubt it because of capacity but I feel like it would be a photogenic ride and also able to have those inversions come back that we have lost. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Ever since they added Banshee I have agreed that they should go for a "spooky" or "haunted" theme for AZ. They could open up blackout as a year round haunted house (either rethemed or kept as is) and have Wolfpack open up as well as something else but keeping the Forrest theme/feel. I feel like they would never get rid of timberwolf though as it is their concert venue. Yes it is only used once or twice a year but when it is used, it does bring in crowds. I would only see it go if they built a new updated venue somewhere else in the park. Where it would go I'm not sure but with that and removing Invertigo and Congo (either complete removing or relocating it somewehere else in the park) it would open up a huge new space for another major attraction. If it is all turned into Oktoberfest, I do agree the AZ portion should be more themed towards the Black Forest. I have wanted this for many years but doubt it will ever happen.
