  1. They are getting Cornstalkers?!?! I didn't think Cornstalkers was up to Knott's standards of attractions.
  2. I actually can't think of any dance club I've been in that my shirt has been on for longer than 10 minutes. That's what we call TMI
  3. Notice I never said Club Blood was good, I just said the adult theme actually did fit with scare events.
  4. Who says it isn't? I just took Ryan's words, and ran with them. Usually the first guess isn't the right one, because if they do it right, the misleading clues are the easiest to find. Hence the looking at the fine print at the bottom of the signs.
  5. Dude, I know a good joke when I see one. I saw the opportunity, and I jumped on it. For a moment I thought about not posting it, for the required response that Dane provided. Then I knew Dane would get a kick out of it, and clicked "submit".
  6. Eh, I probably have it somewhere, but its gotta be buried in my sea of KI stuff on my external hard drive. I have a crap ton of photos I shot there in with my KIC stuff.
  7. Probably since your face was covered. Ya know Dane, I was hoping you'd post that. I knew I was setting you up too perfectly. I would have been shocked if you didn't take the bait, haha.
  8. The more I think about it, the more I think this might be true. When I worked at Haunt, I had more girls ask me for my number than the rest of my life, haha.
  9. Screw that remake crap, the original!
  10. Going up the lift, onboard speakers play the imperial march theme. Fast portion of ride, the tie fighter battle music from episode 4 (when they escape from the Death Star). Returning to station, the Ewok Celebration Song.
  11. Two things: 1) Yes, lightning strikes, but in keeping with the western theme, why would they use something that happens everywhere? 2) If the theme is a western snake, why use a snake found in Ohio?
  12. So Ryan said that the signs give clues, some misleading. I know most people have picked out the "Ride Sally Ride" clue for Mustang as a possible name, but what other clues can be found? Well, I'm a sucker for figuring out clues (especially in movies like Saw), so I'm going to take a stab at creating an alternate theory. Because of this, I am going to ignore the Ride Sally Ride sign, as we've talked enough about it. Now based on these signs, and Cedar Fair's streak of Western theming, I'm thinking of ideas based on the west. Slippery When Wet I assume is a hint at the splashdown. Run For The Hills I assume is a hint at the many hills of a hypercoaster. Steep Incline Ahead hinting at it being one of the tallest coasters in the park. That leaves Ride Sally Ride and Move Slowly (Do Not Disturb) as possible name hints. As I mentioned before, I will ignore the Sally sign. I started thinking about something that you seriously wouldn't want to disturb in the west. I was actually born out west, and one of the things I was terrified of disturbing was... a snake. Granted, there are a good amount of animals in the west that you'd seriously want to not disturb, but another thing I see as a hint makes me lean more towards this idea. "The Park Strikes Back in 2009" What phrase is commonly associated with a snake attack? Finally, I think a snake themed name would be great for this ride. Don't some snakes SWIM ACROSS THE TOP OF WATER? People often look at the big print in signs for clues, but it's often in the small print. The Park Strikes Back makes me think this will be a snake name of some sort. What kind of snake, I have no idea. Or maybe I'm looking too much into this, but hey, I love The Mole and Lost on ABC, and we all know how clues are hidden through those shows. So... King Cobra Returns anyone?
  13. I'd like a press release still. Cause, ya know, rollercoasters are about hills usually... and this has no info on the hills.
  14. Is it just me, or does this coaster go over The Crypt's queue house on the return trip?
  15. Those who know don't tell... unless they're in the media.
  16. "It is the most unique family tour experience that can be found nowhere else in the Midwest," Rose said. I guess someone forgot to mention Wisconsin...

    Alaska

I've been to Alaska before. Had some interesting things happen... Getting lost at "Exit Glacier" Walking across a highway Getting chased by a moose Yeah, I was a stupid kid.
  18. If I do a 3rd season this winter, it will still be Congo. I have a good chunk of the plans finished. Who knows, applications just might start going out in a few months...
  19. A quick google search brought up some info on his credentials... http://aron.socialpsychology.org/
  20. Last year, when KI introduced Club Blood at Halloween Haunt, many people said the skimpy outfits and "adult theme" had nothing to do with being scared. I just found an article, that goes perfectly with explaining why the "adult theme" works PERFECTLY for a scare event. "Fear and Excitement If you enjoy horror movies, you know that fear can be exciting. Many people enjoy being afraid -- the arousal that comes with the fight-or-flight response can be pleasurable and can even mimic sexual arousal. It's no wonder so many people go to see scary movies and ride roller coasters on dates. There is actual scientific evidence that supports the fear-attraction connection. Psychologist Arthur Aron conducted a study using the very common fear of heights. Aron had one group of men walk across a 450-foot-long, unstable-feeling bridge suspended over a 230-foot drop; he had another group of men walk across a perfectly stable-feeling bridge over the same height. At the end of each bridge, the men met Aron's very beautiful female assistant. She asked each subject a set of questions related to an imaginary study and then gave him her phone number in case he wanted more information. Of the 33 men who'd walked across the stable bridge, two called the assistant. Of the 33 who'd walked across the swaying bridge, nine called. Aron concluded that the state of fear encourages sexual attraction."
  21. Part 3 is up. Now, this has got to be my favorite segment of any of my trip videos I've done yet. This truly is the oddest thing I've ever seen. They don't tell much about the place in the marketing for it, so when you go through it, you have no idea of what to expect. Cheesy goodness for all. A couple things. The "red button" segment she said there were two buttons to press, a green or a red one. She asked which button to press. I'm off in the other side of the room, filming some of the scenery, when this happens. Out of nowhere to them, my voice comes out "RED!" while I'm half paying attention. My thinking was this. Green buttons are boring. Sure, pressing the green button starts some cool things, but it's always the big red button that brings out the real show. I mean, think of MIB. That car got AWESOME when they pressed the red button. I can say for sure, the outcome of the red button was well worth it. And yes, me being the one with the big mouth, I was the one to press the red button. The snail thing, you can hear in the video someone makes an S sound right after she asked what the prop was. I know she was going to say skull, but I decided to throw a kink into her speil, and see how she would react to something not expected. Forget saying "alien", I went with something totally random, and the S stuck in my head, so I got "snail". I think she enjoyed my witty remarks throughout our tour. Finally, at one point you can hear a woman shouting "Get the camera guy! He has a camera!" What that was, is we were heading into a pitch black pathway. No light whatsoever. Of course, they had things hanging from the wall and everything. I assume while I was filming, one of the girls walked into a hanging object, and screamed (you can hear a scream on the video). They didn't want to go through first, so this lady volunteers me to walk through it, holding my camera up so we could use the light from the camera. Now that I think about it, I should have turned the camera off on them, and gone into Halloween Haunt mode. A very odd experience, but fun as hell. Not sure if it's worth the 12 dollars for a half an hour of that, but still something that was enjoyable.
  22. Part two shows off something you can only really find in the Dells, the Army Ducks.
