  1. I'll definitely be there to check out Fireflight! They're the only ones I know but I love their music.
  2. Oooh, I'll definitely be checking this out. I seem to have an affinity for making a fool out of myself in public, why not do it on a stage in front of a park full of people?
  3. I'm fairly sure this is only for boy scouts. Almost makes me wish I was still in the scouts...
  4. I'm pretty sure mine was red. I think someone had me borrow their pink one so it'd match my wig. I could be wrong though. Although it's an extremely rare occurance it HAS happened before, believe it or not.
  5. Well, you've got me there. But I still think it would be better if we got a few more people with a proper lack of self-consciousness to dress up as all-out as we did... Still got my boa in your car?
  6. Well Rach, I have to admit, glam rock lazer tag does sound like a pretty good idea. But if you'll think back to when we did it at KI the only people who actually bothered to dress up (Out of the 20 something people that were there?) Are you, me, and Cass. I doubt we'd get a much better turnout this time >.<
  7. Doesn't surprise me in the least. It's only a matter of time before almost every kind of business imaginable will capitalize on the social networking trend.
  8. Well... For some reason I can't quote on my Blackberry, so... KIfan1980: Thanks for correcting me there... I honestly thought it had just came out by then Learn something new every day I guess. Sparky: Now that I've finished cleaning up the mountain dew that I was in the process of drinking I would like to let you know that I wasn't considering wearing my RHPS outfit. Although I am seriously thinking about it now... Imagining the look on the faces of the parents who brought their children for a day of family fun when they see me...
  9. Haha, yeah I'm definitely up for doing this as soon as we can get a big enough group of people together. I haven't played Lazer Tag since it first came out when I was a kid, and that was just in a wide open backyard in broad daylight. I've never been to a place like we're talking about here. I'll probably be absolutely terrible at it but it should still be fun And I could probably get some friends together who'd want to play as well. The only catch is this: My driver's license is suspended until April 22nd, so I wouldn't be able to make it until then. And then only on a weekend since my dad uses our car to go to school from 3pm - 11pm Monday - Friday.
  10. Good to know I'm not the only one I can definitely see a future KIC get-together at this place. If we can make waiting in line for hours seem fun then I can't wait to see what we can do with lazer tag, go karts, bowling, and mini-golf all in one place
  11. Haha, awesome! Go-Karts and Lazer Tag are two of my favorite things to go out and do! Juvenile? Maybe. Fun? Definitely!
  12. I usually see a lot of bees/wasps hovering around trash cans when I go to throw something away but other than that they're not really a big problem.
  13. Hey man, thanks for the compliment on my avatar! It's rare enough to meet someone who actually knows who Dream Theater is (Although not so much lately since their music has been in Guitar Hero/Rock Band games) let alone another fan! Are you planning on seeing them this summer when they go on tour with Iron Maiden? :D

  14. Oh god I hate when that happens. It's uncomfortable enough to have a bug fly into your eye when you're doing something more normal like walking or riding a bike, I can't even imagine having it happen on a coaster
  15. I voted for Beast I liked Maverick as well but the turns are way too hard on my neck.
  16. During my one trip to Cedar Point last season I very quickly learned that riding in the front seat on any of their coasters is generally a bad idea (Although I couldn't help myself when it came to Dragster...). We rode Mantis roughly half an hour before the park closed and I was riding in the front row (I guess I can't technically call them seats... ) and by the time the ride was over I had a small coating of gnats all over pretty much every part of my body that the restraint wasn't covering. Definitely not a good experience on my first ever stand-up coaster. And I don't even want to talk about how bad the bugs were on the four rides on MF afterward... *Shudders*
  17. I really couldn't care less whether or not a sit-down restaurant was added to the park, but I've been saying for years that Kings Island needs to get a Ferris Wheel. That's one of my favorite flat rides and I must say I'm not a fan of having to wait for a day Stricker's Grove is open to the public to ride one
  18. Well, the list that Alluna posted pretty much covers everything you'll need to know. Although the article says to budget $40 for a sit-down meal inside the park, I would HIGHLY reccomend either packing some chips, sandwiches, and drinks and leaving them in a cooler in your car. Or even leaving the park to eat! There's a huge selection of fast food restaurants right around the corner from KI where you could feed your family for a fraction of what it would cost to eat inside the park.
  19. I don't know exactly how many bugs I've swallowed, but it's probably a higher number than I'd like to know anyway. I do remember one episode though... I was riding Son of Beast in 2008 and when I opened my mouth to scream going down the first drop I swallowed a couple of cicadas (They were out en masse that season... especially in the SoB/Flight Deck section of Action Zone). Needless to say the rest of my day was pretty much terrible
  20. No more endless summer on ice it's going to be Snoopy Rocks On Ice! http://www.pki.com/a...ry.cfm?ac_id=17 Ah... well I guess that shows how well I've been keeping up on KI news lately I'm kinda bummed that I never got to see Endless Summer on Ice but I absolutely love Snoopy so I'll be checking out the new show regardless.
  21. I'm definitely not a fan of Down Home Country. I sat and watched it during RWCW because my group was having lunch in Festhaus (And also because a saw that a person I graduated high school with was performing ) and when asked how I liked the show I believe I used the phrase "Cruel and unusual punishment" in my answer But I don't think I've ever sat and watched Don't Stop The Music, so I guess that's on my list of things to do this year. I'm also looking forward to seeing Endless Summer on Ice if it will be showing again this year, and whatever they have showing in Planet Snoopy.
  22. My vote goes for "other" I guess... Me and my ride partner for the day have pretty much narrowed our options down to Drop Tower, Slingshot, or X-Treme Skyflyer first. But knowing me and her we probably won't have made up our minds until we start sprinting into the park on April 17th And after that it's basically a lot of picture/video-taking for a P/VTR.
  23. Well, it's about time we were given some sort of official stance on the Son of Beast issue. I have to admit, I'm definitely not a fan of the ride, and am usually content with riding it once or twice per season, but I'm still sad to see it SBNO.
  24. Oh man... I had never thought to go up to the tower to see how long that line really was that day. I remember joining the line right outside the LaRosas in Rivertown (Even though I was one of the first people waiting for the park to open, having been there since 6AM) and by the time we had finally gotten into Nick U the anticipation was killing me >.<
