Was It Something I Said?
G-Force replied to The Interpreter's topic in KICentral Footnotes & Small News
Haha, I was wondering about that this morning! I started to think that I had dreamed posting the last two days! -
Yeah, that would be cool, little Oktoberfest really does need some attention! (And why are yesterday's posts missing, if you don't mind me asking?)
-
Hmm... I wonder if Putz HQ will be the new name for the Nickelodeon Theater, or if they will put any use to the old Enchanted Theater, doubtful but it would be cool to watch a show in there again (I used to love watching Scooby Doo in there when I was little!)
-
Wait, why is everybody still talking about how bummed out they are that the Spongebob show is going away... it's still going to be here this year, or at least that's what Ryan said a few pages back.. (Post 52, Page 4)

However, Marty's Party is a show Marty PUTZ (Putz HQ?) is writing for Cartoon Network....
-
I don't know... I still think we'll be getting Cartoon Network characters in 2010!
-
Putz HQ? This is a preview of what's probably to come to the kids area next season.... Z's, on everything. EDIT: Found something interesting, Putz is the name of some kids performer (think Wiggles) heres a video of what can be expected in Marty's Party, or at least the song/ music video it is based on: http://www.martyputz.com/kidzone/index.html CRITICIAL UPDATE: Marty's Party is the name of a show Marty Putz wrote, created, and star in for CARTOON NETWORK! Could this be a hint to a Cartoon Network themed kids area in 2012, I think so, but you be the judge!

how many trips to kings island will you take this year?
G-Force replied to Mr. Coastermania's topic in Kings Island
I got around 25 last season, and I'm hoping to hit at least 35 this season! -
Diamondback Construction Thread (Updated 3-19-09)
G-Force replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
I knew that people would ride Diamondback before the bidders did, however that didn't really have much of an effect on my choice to bid, it's all about being the first of the public to ride Diamondback, and that alone is quite a honor in itself (plus I'm all for the extra admission included in the gifts the bidders get! I can really use that for some people I need to get to experience KI!) -
Who's bidding on the first seats on Diamondback?
G-Force replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
I think you can e-mail Don to change it, he usually helps with that sort of thing. -
Now that Diamondback is here for 2009, what will come next?
G-Force replied to Frank's topic in Coming Attractions
I would be perfectly content with new shows (think 2008 season) in 2010 and then maybe a small flat ride extension onto X-Base, I really want to see that area grow. But that can wait untill 2011 or 2012, I think Diamondback will satisfy me enough to make up for a lack of newer rides coming into the park after it. EDIT: Now that I think of it, maybe some theme renovations on some of the exsisting rides (i.e. Scooby Doo, FoF, and The Crypt) that will really be nice! -
New Attraction Coming To Warren County
G-Force replied to RailRider's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I wonder how much they cost them though, it has to be expensive for them to charge that much! It might be that they are planning on getting the opening month(s) sales at $75 and then when intrest drops move it to around $50, this way they can get enough money to make their attraction worth while and also keeping a at least slightly constant intrest since intrest would spark again as soon as they lower the prices. -

I bet they'll figure this out the hard way and eventually drop the prices a little. -
New Attraction Coming To Warren County
G-Force replied to RailRider's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I do like Camp Kern, however I hope that this "attraction" can be visited without attending the camp. Which I assume it is due to them addressing it as an attraction, which makes me think of a seperate venue. -

This newer article mentions something about it being located at Camp Kern... http://www.western-star.com/hp/content/oh/...9amusement.html -
New Attraction Coming To Warren County
G-Force replied to RailRider's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I hope it's a zip line as well, but I will be pleased with anything new and fun coming to the county! -
The only plans I have so far is to be on the first ride (well first five at least) of Diamondback and then go to The Beast. After that, I think I will head down to Action Zone and ride eXreme Skyflyer for the first time. So far, that's it for my plans but as the date comes closer I'll make more specific arangements.

Diamondback Construction Thread (Updated 3-19-09)
G-Force replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
Haha, the one day I forget to check the webcam after I get back from school, they tested it! Oh well, I look forward to watching it on the web cam tomorrow! -
I was one of the people waiting under the HR tent while you guys were making driving plans for the rest of your trip. Sorry if I didn't talk, but I was conserving energy in order to prevent hypothermia .
-
Great TR! Most of us got out of the weather just in time, however I (along with my friend) were (un)fortunate enough to be the last ones to be picked up. At least 30 minutes under the HR Tent in the freezing rain (which still managed to get blown sideways at us occasionally)!

Diamondback Construction Thread (Updated 3-19-09)
G-Force replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
Wow, the train rendering video has been up for months, I have seen it over 50 times, yet not once did I see the changing colors of the car! I was still under the impression that the whole train would be different colors from the other trains. I feel really stupid! lol -
Diamondback Construction Thread (Updated 3-19-09)

Cool, tan and red/orange trains are seen so now we just await the sight of a green train.... -
I had a question about jobs at KI that I decided I would rather post in this thread than start a new one with not that much of a different topic: I have heard a few times that they let a few 15 year-olds become ride-ops or game asscoiates, is this true for either of them, because I really want to start working at KI next season when I am 15!
