  1. Uh...RMC and GCI footings are going to look similar. Until we get an announcement or see the steel beams used for the Iron Horse or Topper Track (whichever comes first), all we can do is speculate.
  2. If KI goes for the most airtime on a wood coaster, I'd be down with that.
  3. I don't think this will be a launch coaster. Upon looking at that first turn on what appears to be the lift (I think its too short of a straight away for a launch given its length), it starts out at a small turn radius and gets wider as it progresses. That to me is a tell tale sign of a first drop GCI style and with the supports around the lift, the track after the first drop will go above the lift. And yes, I think it'll be a GCI.
  4. Ok, I have dates finalized now- Kentucky Kingdom- July 1 Holiday World- Week of July 25
  5. Here's a thought- if Mean Streak is getting RMC'ed, wouldn't we see construction by now? Texas Giant took about a year and a half to re-do, and Mean Streak is a little bit bigger.
  6. If it were before around 2014, then I'd say I'd usually do LaRosa's, but I also mix it up and go to all the venues at some point. Now, it'll be somewhere on Kings Island Drive unless the food department gets better. I'm not as ambitious as Terp to make it out to Putz's though.
  7. You know, most of us won't know anything for sure until the park actually announces the thing. Sitting on the forum constantly saying you know what its going to be is trolling in and of itself, and honestly, its annoying and rude. We know why you can't/won't, so honestly, just keep it to yourself if you're going to continue to gloat about it in such an arrogant manner. We probably still have 2 months of this left. Most of us want to see how the park plays this thing up and will wait until the park announces and want to be surprised because we have this thing called patience.
  8. I've worked at Potato Works, and I had no clue about Italian Job when I worked there in 2004, sans the sewer line they hit when digging out Antique Cars (being in view of that every work day was heartbreaking). The food department is getting weird...
  9. But would that make it any better? I don't know if a simple reprofiling would improve on the boring layout. But I'd love to be wrong...Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk GhostRider also received Millennium Flyers which track way better than PTC's. I just brought it up as a possibility with so many people seemingly sold on an RMC conversion.
  10. The fireworks launch site is not but 100 yards from Beast, so they have to clear the area and wait for the fireworks to end in addition to checking the track for embers before clearing it for operation. I believe they moved the launch site when Firehawk was built (around 2007).
  11. You know guys, Mean Streak could also be getting a GCI makeover much like GhostRider just received.
  12. So we've had bad dialogue and multiple renditions of Jar Jar-esque members affecting the KIC universe. Ok people, let's get on that forced romance. Chop chop. If only Kinzel were still CEO, then we'd have a Palpatine equivalent...
  13. Apocalypse is also in the middle of a desert-esque area. Such hot and dry conditions can't be good on a wood coaster.
  14. ^^Diamondback, WindSeeker, and Banshee would like to disagree with that statement.
  15. If that layout is true, well, I know this is picky, but I'm kind of disappointed that there's no station fly-through. I think something unique like that would at least separate it from other woodies in the area.
  16. Personally, I hope that if this is a GCI, that it has 0 inversions.
  17. Keep in mind GCI has confirmed that Millennium Flyers can be made to do inversions.
  18. I just thought of something with the clearing for this. Could they be using the pre-existing clearing that is the old WWC queue for part of this new attraction?
