I'm a fan of eggnog, filled candies, the many peppermint items that come about this time of year, and a cinnamon cookie known as snickerdoodles.

Its one thing to see renderings of a ride. Its another to see a ride as it actually looks. To me, it looks a lot bigger than the renderings could illustrate.
I really, really hope I'm able to get down to Charlotte next summer.

That building almost looks too narrow for a vertical lift. Judging by the radius of the crest of the first drop, the lift probably has small radii as it curves up and back to level. I'm guessing the trim brake is there so the negative g forces don't get too uncomfortable. I'm curious to see the rest of the layout they have planned.
I also agree on the design of the tower being rather hard on the eyes.

If you want to see huge gaps between support beams, might I direct you to Skyrush's or I305's lifts.

If they do go under new ownership and have to change names, they would need a monumental ad campaign to get the new branding out there.

I'm guessing that silver pole-like piece of steel is a central support for the ride?

Wow. They've really picked up the pace after they topped off the first hill.

I have a request to the KIC membership. I'll be doing research for things to do and places to eat in Annapolis for the Military Bowl.
Some criteria is in order for dining tips-
1. Somewhat on a budget, we (the band) get $30-40 a day and have to spread it out to cover all our meals
2. nothing too specialized or fancy

I think they'll have more complaints about the noise coming from I-71 than Kings Island.

I want to answer this, but each year has a lot to process.

Also, the Kingdom isn't really in a position to be getting them back.

Fury 325 has been topped off.

I know we like to emphasize silence from any given park around here, but has anyone noticed that Busch Gardens Williamsburg has hardly promoted their new coaster?

Looks like they're about ready to top off the lift hill.

I rather liked Hersheypark's Sidewinder, and I have only ridden it with the original train.

Geauga Lake minus the overbuilding Six Flags did.

The time schedule for Fury 325 erection must be very strict.
With the rate its going up, it feels like they'll be finishing really, really close to when it is supposed to open, especially considering how much track they still have left.

Even in the Carolinas, cranes bend down in their continuous search of pennies.

So what's the point of this being a water slide again? To me, loops are only beneficiary when you can actually tell if you're upside down. Here, you're in this confined, claustraphobic rig going through an enclosed tube. It might as well be a roller coaster.
Also, where does the water go? Does it just collect on the bottom of the loop? The upper half of the loop won't have water either.
Overall, this just comes off as silly to me.

I know its probably the angle of the camera screwing perspective up, but the track looks like it'll be to short to get to the next support.
Can't wait to see this sucker topped off!

Diamondback for me.

I have to admit, all the giga coasters have some sort of awe inspiring support structure to gawk at, F325 being no exception.

Would Cedar Fair even go with RMC for anything after what happened with the New Texas Giant? They usually try to go with companies with consistency, especially in regards to safety.
If they do, I wouldn't rule them out completely. They do look like fantastic rides. Just don't advertise them as woodies, please.

This is pretty cool that you've compiled all of this Spectrum91. As much as I like to talk about Kings Island, I do enough digging around for other parks and their happenings to want to talk about them as well.
