  1. they had to have a place to put it. my dad is a retired enjineer for Kings Island. he was there for 25 years. Action Zone was his main area. mostly top gun and king cobra. thats why they had to be so far out. cause of the bilbord
  2. Just curious - what do people complain about regarding Top Gun and Adventure Express? I jokingly complain about Top Gun's three mile hike, and the remarkably anti-climactic lift hill at the end of Adventure Express, but those are two excellent rides nonetheless and I personally will miss these rides when they are gone. If low usage impacts the decision to keep or lose a ride, then I fear for Shake Rattle & Roll. I can't remember the last time I had to wait for that ride. (which is fine with me... great ride + no line = ) WELL. ME PERSONALLY WOULD LOVE TO SEE THEM GO. they are so slow and just so stupid. they could put a great flat ride where AE is or even add on to a ride. and in top guns spot they could put in a great coaster whos statioon is colser so you dont have to walk alot. the only reason you have to walk so much to get to top gun (flight deak) is cause of the giant bilbord that used to reside there.
  3. Is it attached? idk. it might be. but how it looks it is just in the right spot on the ground to make it look like it is attached. if it isnt, id expect it to be up in a little bit. EDIT: they are attaching it right know
  4. o. ok. well i just saw people in the boom lift. wonder what they are doing.
  5. no i think that is part of the station track. hopefully they are about to install it.
  6. That's not that bad. I rode it twice (or was it three times?) and I have a fear of heights. Granted, the first time I rode it was when my friend forced me onto it, but still. The darndest thing I heard was 5 years ago, when someone in line for Delirium said something about the wheel on the ride had detached on opening day and killed a whole bunch of people. I laughed my head off, because 1. if that happened, the ride would be down, and not running (keep in mind this was in August '03 or so, a few months after its opening) and 2. it's the most far-fetched thing ever. yea. Drop Tower is the only ride there i am afraid off and thats cause i hate heights. but thats whi i ride it. cause it scares me
  7. i was at ki yesterday. in line for Vortex and i heard a couple of kids say that the nets on the ride are used to catch the people falling out.
  8. i heard they were going to tear down SoB and turn Drop Tower into a coaster
