  1. I was in eighth grade before I ever rode any coasters, and that was when I rode Gemini at Cedar Point. I was terrified of heights and my one friend used this to get me on it...He told me that Gemini was only 50 ft tall...so I got on. I quickly realized that my friend had conned me into ridding it and was fit to strangle him, but by the time we had pulled into the station I wanted to ride it again and again. Ever since I have been in love with coasters.
  2. Not saying that you wouldn't have checked, but I know I have forgotten about the spam folder a few times. Make sure it was not put placed in there by accident.
  3. Hey, Flying Turns has been under construction longer than Hard Rock Park was open, so it's got that going for it, which is nice. Oh I know, I was just saying that it deserves to be higher on the list than 8th, sorry I wasn't being clear.
  4. You know it's been a slow year when a relocated coaster is number 9 on a blogger's top 9 new roller coasters for 2009, and Flying Turns at Knobles is only 8th, and a coaster that no one really knows anything about (except that it goes really fast) is 5th. Lets just wait until the Golden Ticket comes.
  5. I like the sign, it looks fangtastic! But it does seem to be missing something because there is alot of unused space. As the picture of Maverick's sign showed, the logo was smaller but there was also the picks to use up some of the space. I have a feeling the sign may not be fully completed just yet.
  6. I believe that it is actually the second time that that has happened in this thread...and both times Terpy has graced us with his poetic abilities.
  7. It does have a slight blueish tint, but it is probably just the way the light is hitting the water. EDIT: all three trains are running.
  8. I had that same feeling when Terpy said it. And now its 6733, but whos counting. lol Those rocks around the splashdown definitely look nice.
  9. Amazing find! I am fairly new to Kings Island, visited a couple of times but never really knew much about it. This year with Diamondback I have gotten to know a lot about the history of Kings Island, and this video helped that much more to learn about the history. Thank you for posting it.
  10. After looking at the photos on the website, the roostertails start out small, but by the time the train pulls out of the splashdown those things are HUGE!
  11. That picture just made my day! Thank you Mr. Helbig and Ryan!
  12. Yeah, it looks more like a person cleaning the splashdown rather than someone filling it with water.
  13. As of right now there are two trains in the storage shed.
  14. This picture shows a nice view of the train and you can see the scoops in the very back. They are the tiny black things in the back I believe. The one question I have though is why every seat had a water dummy except one?
  15. Shes got that B&M roar!!!! and it doesnt look like the MCBR really trims off too much speed.
  16. Thank you very much for that footage. That definitely just made my day.
  17. um...was that necessary? Everyone here is excited to know that Diamondback is testing, and they would like to see it. I don't blame them for being a little bummed that the webcam isn't working for them.
  18. Wow a couple of days went by pretty fast...something tells me that no one told Don that they were planning on testing it until they were just about to test it. Just a though... After what Goofy just said, I'm pretty sure im incorrect in my statement.
  19. Which means most likely...happy webcam watching tomorrow!
  20. ^beat me to it, but that didnt take them too long to put that train together!
