I do wonder if the demolition company is related to the SOB station considering Wolf Pack didn’t reopen this year
Could be for another underperforming wolf in the park, that was saved at the last minute this year.

The latest episode features a frank discussion with Taylor Bybee of Coaster Studios. We walk about his career as a coaster YouTuber and what it took to get there.
Did you guys run out of people? LOL

Blue Ice Cream was around way before the Smurfs at Kings Islands. Again, go do some research, that's how we learn.

A minute in and already wrong information in the video. Go back and research.

That has been on my radar. If it pops up be prepared for a bidding war. lol
EDIT: Also, there are 2 versions of this medallion. The one pictured above is the one that was offered at Kings Island For Sale to the public and only 1.5".The other (below) is the one that was handed to Full Time Staff and big wigs at Taft and was 2.5". That one is my holy grail of KI collectibles.

Not to play Devil’s Advocate, but wouldn’t a “no bag” policy be less confusing than the current policy? A girl ahead of me had one of those tiny Fanny packs and it was too big. She used it for her phone clearly. When security turned her away she went from laughing thinking that they were joking to a straight face of absolute disbelief.
Yes it would. I know they are doing this for a safety issue, but they need to setup a special line for folks with medical needs to accommodate them. Some people have conditions where they need medications or supplies immediately and are unable to
trek back out to their cars. They clearly did not think this through. I know for a fact they made someone put their diabetic supplies back in their car.

They are refusing some with medical supplies. This will blow up in their face as refusing medical supplies is illegal.

I was told by the associate at the VIP tent that they are no longer offering bottled water. That’s a shame since one of the things that put me over the edge of buying it was the bottled water. I don’t like the water out of the Freestyle machines.
I suppose there’s nothing I can really do about it since they have the “subject to change” ‘gotcha!’ language in their paperwork, but I assume that the “perks” are going to be halved by next season.
…not to mention that we may or may not get the benefits at other parks depending on the park and who you ask and what day.
A lot of us spent more on this pass than we ever had before. It’s been several weeks. Time to get your sh-t together, Kings Island.
I think the courts may see it differently if enough people got together and decided to act.

Just imagine next year if the VIP lounge is always packed with nowhere to sit because they sold thousands of the Prestige Passes, imagine if they nix bottled drinks as a cost cutting measure… uhhh… I mean, because people were sharing them with non Prestige Pass holders!, or parking in Preferred is granted to those who get there before 9:30 a.m. or after 8:00 p.m. because it will always be full and “subject to availability.”
The park knows what they got themselves into. They have your money. It’s going to tell us a great deal as to how the benefits are interpreted now versus how they’ll be interpreted next year.
And they will open themselves to a lawsuit if they start backpedaling too much. Bait and switch.

These pins are looking nice! So far, I'm interested in the Timberwolf and Racer (sign) pins. I cannot wait until they roll around to the 90's/2000's pins*! And was the "Where winter comes alive" slogan on the Winterfest the original tagline? If so, that's a nice touch!
*Also, I wonder how that'll work as the park was owned by Paramount for a large part of the time period
Yes it was the slogan, also it was not owned by Paramount during those years.

Happy for the promotion, just hope food quality and service doesn't decline without his immediate watchful eye.

Is there a forum specially for current/past associates? My son is working in merch this year and I am curious about some of the staffing procedures. My son gets sent home about every other shift. It’s very frustrating. Yesterday, for example, his dad drove him from his home 30 minutes away. My son worked for an hour and then was told he had to clock out. He asked to stay but they refused. This happens all the time! He is scheduled to work every day of Labor Day weekend. We won’t make any plans for that weekend since he is scheduled but my guess is he probably won’t work all three scheduled shifts as he will surely be sent home one or all three days. He gets penalized for missing or calling off but they can force him to go home with no notice. Anyone else had a similar experience or know of other associates who are forced to clock out from scheduled shifts with no notice?
And they wonder why they can't get people to work there.

I would say this year is it for TW. I think this year was a nostalgic cash grab to milk it one last time before tearing it down. Nothing permanent was added to the venue except for a fence and left over pavers for the “vip” area. Also a little paint here and there. Everything else is portable and can be used elsewhere. I’m glad some got to see a concert there that hadn’t before. Time to clear it out and do an update on Action Zone.

I popped in for a quick visit today earlier this afternoon. The "No signal" TV that was broken at the Flight of Fear exit vignette is back in operation! Which was great to see. The podcast wagon is still not emitting audio. No idea about the station music/light in the meteor because like I said, I was just there for a quick visit. It's great to see that that TV was fixed, I hope the other elements will be repaired soon.
So all you did was come on here to do some passive aggressive complaining? Seems like since you’ve been back from Hershey you’ve done nothing but pick Kings Island apart. Just do us all a favor and keep the complaining to yourself.
Sincerely,
Just About Everyone

With the 50th anniversary coming up, we need to update the main pages current remnants page. It has not been updated in some time, and either needs removed or updated. I want this to be the members site, so we will use this thread to allow KIC members to post what they see for this year, and I will update that page on the main site.
For it to be added to the main site's page, please provide a pic of what you see and we will use that as the resource for the new entry. We can also validate old entries or prove them inaccurate at this point. Lets have fun with this!

Might want to update that list. Scratch out #6, #9, and #15

I think I'll just stick with my Gold/Platinum passes for now. Sounds like another half baked promotion that really wasn't worked out before selling.

The concerts sold less than 30%. The money they put into it was chump change and cheap. It was basically a clean up. Again, it was saved at the 11th hour this year to try and squeeze what they could out of it. In fact there are already dumpsters that have been placed in Timberwolf.
