  1. I've thought long and hard about this one and I refuse to decide which I like better. Both offer different ride experiences, and both have built some of my favorite coasters (Apollo's Chariot, El Toro, Maverick).
  2. 1. Maverick 2. Magnum XL-200 (good value pick...always a reasonable line) 3. Raptor 4. Top Thrill Dragster 5. Mantis/ Millennium Force
  3. Hey guys It's been a while (sometime during Haunt 2011). In fact the only coasters I rode last year were at MoA.
  4. I don't know why people hate Mantis so much. To the original poster: I'd advise you to ride Mantis, unless you have leg problems. Personally, I haven't been hurt at all on any stand-up coasters. They're a very unique experience and you should ride at least one so you know what they're like.
  5. You can find Blue Ice Cream in Action Zone next to Delirium or in Planet Snoopy by the Planet Snoopy Grill.
  6. This is a pretty good rundown of what to expect. It really depends on what time of the summer you go. I went on a Saturday in June a few years back expecting 2+ hour lines and found very light crowds. Lines for Raptor are ridiculous. Near the beginning of the day (even on somewhat slow days) you can find 45 minute- hour lines. However if you go in the evening, around dinner time, it usually isn't past 15 minutes. In fact I've waited 45 minutes and five minutes for that ride in the same day. Top Thrill Dragster's lines are usually 45- an hour all day. Millennium Force will usually be around an
  7. Funny, the EXACT same thing happened to me two weeks ago. I put my bag (containing my and two other friends' phones and wallets, and car keys) under our shirts and shoes. When we got back from riding slides, it was gone. Only different thing here is that I didn't get mine back

    Fridays at KI

I've never been during the day on Friday in the school year, but I've gone on several Friday nights early in the season and they are great times to go. I wouldn't think you'll have to wait more than 15-30 minutes for anything besides Invertigo, Firehawk, MAYBE Flight of Fear, and quite possibly WindSeeker (we'll see how it handles capacity once it opens). I guarantee you'll have a lot of fun. Welcome to KIC!
  9. A year or two ago I noticed that Woodstock Express's phone thing had the OLD Kings Island logo: like this
  10. I only too like five pictures the whole trip so I'll just give the rundown of the rides and other stuff I think is important:P DAY 1- Carowinds Intimidator- First coaster of 2011 for me. Definitely a backseat ride. I'd have to rank it SLIGHTLY below Diamondback just cause it feels a little slower coming over some of the hills, and the first hill doesn't provide as much airtime. However, the last few hills provide more than Diamondback's. So they're pretty even for the most part. 10/10 Afterburn- one of the best inverts I've ridden, just below Alpengeist. It feels really fast, the layout
  11. So I'm going to be at Carowinds on Saturday, and I still have my KI Platinum Pass from last year. I know Friday is the first day for processing at KI, but it doesn't open til 4 and we'll be long gone by then. Are there ANY deals for renewal that I could get, lower than $165?
  12. Is there still any renewal deal for Platinum Passes?
  13. Anyone know if the Eurobobbles will be back this year?
