  1. That could be because they're REALLY pushing scheduling them in advance, though. It's easy to use statistics to your advantage to make a billion dollar investment look good. Imagine if they had instead spent that much money to improve the parks to Tokyo Disney standards. I do like the idea of MagicBands, having admission/dining/FP combined into the wristband, but I don't want to have to schedule my vacation in advance. I guess I prefer being more spur-of-the-moment.
  2. 1. Yes, they'll scan your pass at the toll plaza. On the first visit when you get it processed, they'll scan the season pass voucher. 2. Yes. As far as I know, they include the perks at all the parks.
  3. To be fair, there's a difference between being given extra change or whatever and getting an extra item at McD's- the food has to be thrown out even if you returned it.
  4. Parking was $12/$20 for regular/preferred in 2012, $12/$20 and $15/$22 on Saturdays in 2013. Seems to be the same this season.
  5. It's also worth noting that it looks like the food registers are running on a totally new system this year, which would add to some confusion.
  6. NO drinks included with the all-season plan. This is on all the literature and the website.
  7. https://store.accesso.com/CF-KI/orderLookup It needs the email address and phone number used for the order.
  8. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mission:_Space#Controversy At least Horizons never killed anyone. Should a ride really need that many warning signs?
  9. We've already hit the point of rides being too intense for people, just look at Mission: SPACE. I don't really want to ride something that has a body count.
  10. I wish they played the DS9 theme, it'd work really well on WS.
  11. Those commercials make me think of the creepy Burger King guy...
  12. You mean like #KIBestDay? When I saw that, I assumed that's what it was for...
  13. What a convenient angle that doesn't show that the house is just a flat cutout.
  14. Nobody takes good pictures on KI equipment.
  15. It's likely a different phone number than what you're entering or there was no phone number to begin with.
  16. That's the benefits of a regular season pass. I want to know what extra benefits I am getting with my Gold Pass that I paid extra for, as well as how to use those extra benefits. Transmitted from Wild Space via my datapad's DROID brain Parking. Admission during the fall.
  17. Even when used as a verb?? hmmm.. Trademarks and servicemarks are typically not to be used as verbs. Doing so makes genericization of the mark more likely. Xerox used to fight this tooth and nail, as has Photoshop. Interestingly enough, if you ask Google to define the word "Google", it returns it as a definition for "google" (in fact, even their example sentence shows it as not being capitalized), but if you ask it to define "Xerox", it gives you a definition for "Xerox". It looks like Google is implying that it's okay to not capitalize it when using it as a verb...
  18. Big gen ed lecture classes at WSU are actually pretty easy to skip. You learn more in the labs than you do the lectures. Though four absences in this class = dropping one letter grade. Can't miss that Great Gatsby talk! I hate classes that literally punish you with grade deductions for missing class. It adds insult to injury of missing the material. OK, if it's a lab and your lab partner will suffer if you don't show up, then fair enough. In that case, it makes logical sense. But for a lecture, if I want to miss class, that should be my prerogative. If I am able to learn the content while missing lecture from time to time, then what does it really matter? I still learned it! That's why teachers have tests. It forces you to actually LEARN the material rather than just show up to class and daydream. If I were in a class where there were no tests, I could understand only allowing X number of missed days, but the idea that I'm paying to go to college means I should be able to utilize my investment in whatever way I see fit. /rant I can say from experience that in my college career, there were several days when skipping class to get a little extra sleep and studying the material later on my own helped me learn it FAR better than I would have if I had gone to class groggy and tired. I actually have a professor who flat out tells us that he's not worried about attendance if we can learn the material on our own. It's an intro to psych class, so it's basically a review if you took it in high school (gotta love those gen eds!). Plus, he grades his exams in a rather interesting way to give everyone a huge grade boost (usually about 130 possible points, but the grade is out of 100). But, anyway it's ridiculous to DEMAND perfect attendance when we're the ones whose grades are affected if we never show up and never do any of the work. I rarely miss class (I think I've missed a class once since I was a freshman and that was because of snow), and I literally get straight A's... if I want to miss two 55min classes to go to opening day, I think I deserve that. Not that I think I will, but still...
  19. https://www.kingsdominion.com/ticket-category/Fast-Lane-Fright-Lane And I believe that at WOF the lines were held on the ground and merged at the stairs.
