This got me WAY more excited to visit the park than the lame commercials. Please tell me my love of well-tended landscaping does not mean I'm getting old.

Weighing in: Hard to watch.

I love love LOVE looking at all the styles from the 70's and 80's in these photos. Compared to the 90's and 2000's, everyone looks so dapper! These days people walk around in what was once considered underwear (me included)!

All I could see in this video was no flagpoles. :D (Edit: Looks like standbyme and Cedarpointer beat me on this note... glad to know I wasn't the only one crossing my fingers. )

I am down for this one! We have a kid in our ranks who might be afraid of the dino's as well, so the $5 upcharge is kind of a nice way to reconsider things on his part. We can tell the older two that it isn't worth the money to send him through if he doesn't feel like it, and maybe they'll spare him the teasing! Has anyone ever been to Dino World in Cave City? My sister blew much more than $5 getting in there and really didn't have a lot of nice things to say about it. I'm hoping this is nicer. I think this may be the kind of thing where you go through once and you've had your fill for the season, so not including it in a season pass makes sense to me. So has anyone drawn on a Google maps shot yet to guess at how big this will be? I'm predicting that a neat aspect of this will be looking down into it from atop The Racers, Vortex or Beast. Hopefully some of the taller dino's will be visible.

The article states that the woman left her son under the supervision of her daughter. The daughter then asked the son to go with her and he wouldn't, so the twerp left him. It doesn't say how old the daughter is. The article doesn't say whether or not the woman left the park. Maybe she just went to the bathroom or to get them some food. They don't say why they wanted to treat the guy with the paramedics. They say she was joking about him getting lost... after 21 years, I'd assume she had dealt with a few instances of him wandering off. I mean, the lady might be a real jerk, but who can tell anything based on this article! It's just bad reporting, and it kinda sounds like they are sensationalizing what happened just to grab a headline.

To my knowledge, Will Koch did not want Voyage to have a loop in it. If he had, and Gravity Group would not do it, knowing Will Koch, he would have found someone who would have done it... Actually, I think that if Disney bought GWL, fans of KI would be VERY VERY interested. But that's just me. That's what leads me to wonder... that they have a category called 'Disney' coded into their system! Very interesting indeed, and much fun to speculate on! I wasn't offended, just pointing out that it should be in the right location, so others interested in GWL stuff could see it. Not trying to be nasty or anything. So, today I'm on the mythical quest for a GWL promo code that will save me mucho $$$ for an online booking. I came across this code 'CUB', in a message board. It is a code open to the general public (not a company employee code or anything), so I assume it's safe to share here. Anyway, the real interesting part is that when this is entered into the booking system, the description comes up as: Promotional Rate: Disney Fall/Winter Offer Disney? Okay, maybe it has something to do with me finding the code over at DisBoards, but still. DisBoards is not officially linked up to Disney, so using the 'Disney' name on their site when describing this code still seems a bit funky. Just thought I'd put a bug in your ear, since it sure raised an eyebrow with me.

There was another thread about this with some photos and such. Someone might link to it for ya... Agreed. Coney Mall has to be one of the best assets the Haunt has. Was the Jack-in-the-box new this year? So creepy! Only thing I could ask is for CarnEvil to move out here and take the Death Row spot. Death Row can move to... another park. We only had one opportunity to hit a ride on opening night and that is the one we picked. It really is amazing in the dark! We root for Adventure Express like it's the home team. Love it.

I couldn't agree more. While there were those putting forth an effort, we saw more than a few scare actors stride on by. Some had a creepy walk, others were clearly on their way to somewhere else.

Hey gang, I'm doing a review of Howl-O-Fest, and visiting it for the first time since my now-adult sisters were little princesses and kitty cats. We are taking our son to do the trick-or-treat and costume contest, but other than that, I'm going off of the website as to what to do.
