I've given Ride Hopper several chances at CP and KI and found that no one else was entering times.

I was enjoying this thread for awhile... then we went back to the same old SOB talk A note on Mantis, I find riding on the left side near the back to be a great ride. I hated Mantis until my friend had me ride there and now I look forward to riding it every visit.

My family really enjoyed our time at SC. We all hate getting sprayed in the face at the start of Action River but really enjoy the rest of it. Maybe the people spraying you could aim for something else but... knowing that's just not going to happen CF should really take them out. I would love to have another good family slide that we can ride together. Lockers are expensive and we're low on funds this year. Otherwise, we had a great time.

Because they are no longer in demand. Stand ups were very popular, at the time, but were more of a gimmick that lacked lasting appeal.

The ugly carnival coaster is gone too... So sorry to my friends who liked it. I enjoyed the ride but always thought it was out of place.

Looking at the style of dress I assume we're much safer from heat exhaustion too!

Skyhawk is my favorite flat and I would love for KI to get a screamin swing. My friends and I say that Skyhawk always delivers and they're aren't many rides I can ride 7-8 times in a row and not get bored with.

I lurk Pointbuzz regularly and have an account but never use it. I enjoy the history and passion for the park that some of the posters offer and became a 'fan' of RideMan's insight about the 2nd or 3rd time I visited. Coasterbuzz is nice for info but the forums are not nearly as active as KIC and Pointbuzz and that's what I usually go to sites for. Screamscape is fun but usually does't have much content that interests me. I followed i305 construction pretty closely on KD fan site and somewhat Leviathon's on CWmania but haven't really been back to either. I have learned something through all this. KIC is truly a special place with many genuine people who make good friends and have amazing insights into much more than just amusement parks. Thanks for posting!

Thanks for the TR. Glad to hear you had a good time. Some friendly words of advice, please use some punctuation next time because it really was hard to read.

Re: SOB's que, Fear of pain makes people do some pretty crazy stuff BTW, high school bus just dropped off the chaotic and obnoxiously loud daily dose of adolescence I hear from any room in my house.

I agrees with GYK, call and politely ask to talk to a supervisor. IF that does;t work call KI and talk to one and then ask them to contact KD, while your on the phone, to double check with them. Get the names of those you talk to at both park. YIKES!!!!! It seems a lot of pass problems only get solved by going to guest relations or processing and going up the chain to a supervisor or two, I don't recommend that in your case I've had issues at multiple parks over several things. It all seems so silly doesn't it. Thanks to difficulties with renewing my KD PP, I was planning on season passes to Holiday World instead this year. Then came all the good that has been Ouimet"S leadership thus far. I now have a PP and my wife and daughter have KI Gold.

I always thought DT and Avalanche Run were lackluster. Even riding Acalanche as a kid it didn't come close to being as fun as other bobsleds I had ridden. I am so glad to see the big ugly box on the beach go!

I won't miss DT but it is sad to see a family attraction go. I will kinda miss seeing Space Spiral but not nearly as much as Demon Drop... and to be fair, I don't miss seeing DD any more. I am crazy excited about seeing the beach front opened up and the idea of a winged coaster coming out into the parking lot sounds epic! All in all, I think this is a great move for CP

I've actually given up on Maverick for ERT and gotten kinda frustrated with it all together. The sad thing is, it was my favorite coaster but has kinda slipped... I gotta say I feel really bad typing that

Since I couldn't find time to drive down to KD to renew in person (still ticked about all that) I wasn't able to renew. Maybe I should go read those happy thoughts about the improvements this year cuz I'm not happy about the pass thing! Actually, I expect the pass problems of the past to remain there after this year. Oh the stories we have of season and platinum pass problems!

Lots of Love to one of my favorite coasters. I've realized recently that the view going up the lift hill is one of my favorite "coaster moments."

We canceled too. My trip to the Chicago Field Museum with nearly 4 yr old daughter, wife and her Mother was awesome! I hadn't been in years and it is so much better than I remember. I'm seriously impressed with how much my daughter learned and was able to talk about this morning too.
