There's no way around removing trees which weren't in the way of anything? Just taking a stab here, but I am guessing they had to go to get construction equipment in? I could be wrong, bur don't think they would spend the money to remove them if not necessary.

Nope, have not been there. Yes, I have heard about the re routing of Beast, but that was a coaster that had the flexability. This is a flat ride that requires a certain size footprint and has no flexability. The only thing that could be different is if it was placed where trees were not alreaady there. At least that is all I can think of on a location.

If you want more rides trees have to be sacriced no way around it.

I would love to see them add another one of these types of restaurants with a different variety of food in another part of the park. I hope they are thinking of that in the next overhaul/expansion in the . Maybe the park will be lucky enough to pay for it out of contingency money? I know wishful thinking!

Even if they can get the money to get the park back open, how much would it cost in matketing to bring the GP back in the park so it is profitable. I am not convinced one bit and I am not one of the investing tax payers.

Seeing a ride come together like we did DB pre 2009 season was very exciting. Although, it is not at B&M hyper, I would enjoy a webcam to see progress this off season. I hope to see lots of picture updates posted by KI as well!

Look at all the posts about the park being packed this month, I went of Friday night this year and was packed more that I have ever seen for a Friday and I haver been going for years. I would want them back as well. I am not a person who likes to see a midget bleed, but figure all the people watching that show is not in front of me in a queue! It is a win win when you want it to be.

I agree, my favorite time to go is when daily operations start and school is still in. same in the fall once school returns and still in daily operations!

Sounds to me that the ride op could have been right. Let's say one of the three trains was having issues with those seats. Instead of removing that whole train and going to a 2 train op, you just block off that row for all 3 trains. Capacity is better with 3 trains with a few rows missing than 2 trains will all rows in operation. I could be wrong, but this fits what the ride op said? EDIT: I just realized I just restated what Braves0511 said. Sorry Braves!
