  1. Oh yeah. I did the same thing. Once. ONCE!!
  2. Several years ago, I was on The Beast and when going down the second lift hill drop (I was on the left seat) My tips of my left fingers "smacked" the top of the tunnel. I am 6'4" with long arms, it stung for a good ten minutes, and I guess you could say that I was lucky to not get injured. When I now ride, I try to move my arms away(LOL) from the tunnel. Does anyone else have any experiences like this one?
  3. I'm glad you were able to ride without any problems. I'm 6'4, 340, with 48" waist and 34" inseam. Drop Tower is out, as is Delirium and anything else with a "maximum height requirement." Yes, there are several rides with this rule. I couldn't ride Diamondback last year but it was very close. I haven't tried WindSeeker yet, but I'm hopeful it'll work. The Beast is a tight fit and I HATE how my knees bang the front of the car. Backlot Stunt Coaster is a tight fit but it works, as is Flight Deck. Viking Fury, Adventure Express, and Shake Rattle Roll have all been fine. Obviously the train works fine, too. Flight of Fear worked last year but it took them three employees to get me in. Thankfully, the great Ronny Salerno was one of them and he and his crew were very kind. I think that's everything I've tried to ride this year or last. The nice thing is that no matter what the employees have all been VERY sensitive to this issue and are super kind about helping and if I've had to make the Walk of Shame, they've been very sweet about it. Thanks to them! I am also 6' 4" but, they have only told by a ride operator that I could not ride, this was at KI. At Cedar Point, 2 weeks ago and I believe the height requirement was 6'5" (for the maximum)
  4. I love it, That drop looks intense! Where is this coaster and what is the name?
  5. How about a GREAT floorless coaster, with the most inversions.
  6. I was wondering? How much would it cost to remove the SOB coaster? If they were able to re-work the coaster(recycle) what could they save. The lift hill and first drop? Remove the rose bowl (Which seems to give the coaster a rough time)? Maybe make it a terrain coaster or out and back style? What are your guys thoughts?
  7. I got a chance to catch a spin on Cedar Point's WindSeeker. I only waited about 20 mins. The ride was spectacular, the view also great. My favorite thing was the light display was amazing, the different light patterns were fun. If you get a chance to ride without a super long wait, it is well worth it.
  8. May I ask your height and weight? I am 6'4" 240lb. I was 260 last summer and had plenty of room. If you don't want to answer my question, I respect your reasons. I do not want to disrespect you. Thanks I'm 6'5" and 300+, but I didn't think I got that much bigger than last season, in fact I felt like I lost some weight. I'm not trying to pass the buck at all, I was just wondering if the winter weight + a seatbelt issue led to my WOS. I really thought it was weird that he wouldn't help because at Diamondback, the checker helped me get that one last click earlier in the day... Very inconsistent, but I guess that's the order of the day at Kings Island. We are talking about ride ops? I am sometimes stopped from riding Delirium, as I mentioned I am 6' 4" and on two separate occasions the ride op- stopped me and measured me and would NOT let me on. I stated that I already rode that day without any problems. With my height I am at the correct "length" (height) for the ride. Why is there a problem? I know, maybe this is a whole different topic!! but, what gives?

  10. How in the world does the boats "Not Fit" with the Shoot The Rapids ride? I thought engineers would have something like this under control? Maybe they used the metric system instead??? LOL
  11. When it's wood, it's all good. Steel coaster= Floorless!!
  12. Nice photos, thanks for posting. I can't wait to ride WindSeeker!!
  13. What is the prices like in your city? I am located at the southern tip of Ohio (4.29 a gallon) What is your home city?
  14. SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME!!! I SAW TWO NIGHTS AGO, THAT BARREL A OF OIL DROPPED BY $9.00 SO WHY AND THE HECK IS GASOLINE IS STILL SO HIGH? I SAW THE NEWS SEGMENT ON OUR EVENING NEWS. SORRY FOR THE CAPS LOCK, I AM ANGRY!!! WE ARE GETTING RIPPED OFF DAILY AND THERE IS NOT A DARN THING WE CAN DO.
  15. I have June 13th thru the 17th I might possibly go that tues/ wed.
  16. Does anyone have any trip tips: Where to stay, besides Cedar Point Properties that will not break the bank. Maybe a surrounding city (not Sandusky) that is a possible better value. If Sandusky is the best value, I will consider my options. Next, what about discounted tickets? Where to buy? Ticket coupons? Some kind of dollar amount off of tickets? I have not been to Cedar Point in some years, and with the high gas prices, I need to possibly cut a few corners. I just want to avoid a lousy hotel, when I might spend a few more dollars and have a nicer place to stay. This is a trip for adults, no kids going on this trip. Any and all trip advice would be welcome. Thanks again for any help-MICHAEL
  17. http://www.bankrate....-ford-explorer/ So, before Mr. Kinzel claimed high gasoline prices would boost attendance at Cedar Fair parks (and attendance fell). What will happen if the economy improves but gas goes to $4+ a gallon? What say ye? $4/gallon gas seems like a downright bargain compared to the mere 32oz of soda you get for the same amount of money at your neighborhood Cedar Fair park . I agree, very funny.
  18. I wish KI had the same program as The Crypt at Kings Dominion. Absolutely love the ride program, ride theme great too.
  19. Good night If you can stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen. There has been a lot of uproar lately... I can stand the heat, but I am a little bigger than that to continue to argue over this.
  20. I am really not making a BIG deal of this? It was just my own opinion of the subject at hand. This subject is up for discussion, since this is a FORUM, that is what I am doing. Don't read too much in to it please...OK?
