    Storms?

I'm happy. Now it's just supposed to rain, not storm. Too bad I won't get to experience being pelted with heavy rain!

    Storms?

What does it take to close rides when it's storming? Are there any rides that stay open even when others are closed? I'm planning on going Wednesday (6/17), but it's supposed to storm I believe
  3. I really hope my mom takes me up to Cedar Point this summer Everything seems three times as good up there
  4. It does look like it's really slow Anyone who sees that and thinks it's really slow should be in for a surprise
  5. Wow, that seems like a lot to me Is it really though? I don't know much about any other parks
  6. I think I read somewhere that The Racer was the tallest, fastest, and longest coaster at the time

    Records?

I was talking to my mom yesterday about different records that Kings Island has set with different rides that we may not have any longer, and of course, rides that we have now. I know of: SOB - tallest and fastest wooden Beast - longest wooden (also with one of them I think it's the most wood used to make a wooden coaster) Drop Zone - tallest gyro drop Vortex - when it was built, had the most loops of any coaster in the world ---- I think I may know of a few more, but i don't want to sound stupid for being incorrect :] So, does anyone know of other records Kings Island has set? Well, maybe not Kings Island has set. Roller coasters/rides AT Kings Island.
  8. my friend and i were riding Adventure Express sunday and these two girls were sitting behind us. one of them was like "OMG ON THE FIRST DROP, MY LEGS LIKE GO NUMB AND I CAN'T FEEL THEM" well, my friend and i were trying really hard not to laugh at them. so the ride starts, and we go down the first drop, and she's like "oh wait, not THIS first drop, the NEXT first drop!" and so we go down 'the next first drop' and she goes "AHH THEY'RE NUMB" at this point i was just annoyed. THEN the ride stops halfway up the first lift for about 15 minutes while they were getting a little boy too short to ride off. i had to listen to them for fifteen minutes. i'm easily annoyed i guess. but it was pretty amusing.
  9. i think people who waited for ERT had to wait hours upon hours. my friends and i got in line at around 6 pm and waited an hour and a half. i think ERT is just basically a gathering of gold pass holders. and isn't worth it.
  10. mhm. i guess that a seat belt would be a good idea. but the lap bar was kind of a lap bar seat belt combo. in a way.
  11. i really liked the lap bar, personally. and the seats were so comfortable. and i felt very safe. but on The Racer, since i have skinny legs and there's a ton of room between my thighs and the bar, the seat belt makes me feel safer.
  12. i think it will look more like that in the fall, but right now all the pretty trees don't have leaves. but i agree, it did used to be really beautiful. Diamondback is beautiful too, though
  13. we did end up riding it though twice! it was cool at night, the lines were much shorter we waited an hour and a half at about 6ish and 50 minutes when we got in line about 9:50 i was very happy
  14. totally amazing, but better at night we were the third to last ride of the day, and it was incredible
  15. does anyone know at what point on the ride you'll get your picture taken?
