  5. ^^ Think they mean 9 am. 9pm would be almost too late to come to the park!
  6. Haha glad you guys find it amusing as well!
  7. Great TR Angie!! I need to go with you all sometime! haha
  8. When I was in my early teens, I'd walk around the park meowing at people when they'd stare at me.....cuz you all know when you walk in the park some people just stare and stare....so I'd "meow". Stupid I know!
  9. Among other ride associates, thanks to everyone who have said that we have been great! Rivertown associates are the bomb!!!!
  10. My Question is: Why does it matter? Why are we not talking about Boo Blasters in this forum? This is the reason some people look away from KIC. Yes it would be nice to have more theming in the park. But we have what we have. Deal with it.
  11. Hope you have a great time at the park! Visit me on Diamondback if you can!
  12. Actually, a few of the things that have been mentioned the park employees do not do. Have you seen a park employees making improvements to The Crypt? Or maybe park employees working on the Tower Gardens waterfalls? This is the kind of thing we will try to do. I myself will enjoy doing these things. Ditto. I mean I'm sure its in someones job description to actually do this, but its farther down the list (*cough*like top guns paint job*cough*) But there are little things we would be able to do. and I'm stressing LITTLE things. planting a tree or 2 or some flowers, i could see that easily. mechanical work and heavy lifting regardless f exp or licenses... not so much. but like me and alluna both pointed out, yes there will be issues, yes it will take time, yes bring yourself down just a step or 2, cuz your hopes are starting to get a smidge high, but don't give up on everything like that. I mean you went from an appt to talk to them, to not doing anything, to agreeing to set up meetings? Thats one thing about your idea... if your gonna stick with it, stick with it.. your not, then get out now... I agree Rachel. For some of the things you want to do, you'd have to have employees there in specific departments, and other employees, but the time these things would be done, would be pushing limits on people (working 9am-10 pm and then sticking around to watch people do improvements, proves the employees to be very tired and wanting to go home as well as employees only being able to work a set number of hours a week). Continue to talk to the park and jump down like Rachel said a step or two....you can only do so much as well as the park employees.
  13. got a 3944 today, without stops, but i think the counting system was off.
  14. That wasn't directed to you ZukoGirl. Sorry for the confusion.
  15. I thought that they looked pretty good considering they had to strip them of their MINI theme! Generic looking is what they were going for I do believe, but the pain job's I thought were nice. I agree! I'm a bit OCD though, so I like to see all one color trains. Lol! But the fact of the matter is, we've got what we've got for a reason. It's no use crying over spilled milk. If it dampers your experience that much by coming to the park and not being able to ride BLSC or CRYPT because something isn't the way you want it to be, then why come? Why constantly complain about it on KIC?
  16. I think this is a prudent time to remind everyone that the park is doing this 5@5 thing on their own time, and generously so. It is neither required, nor is it typical of a theme park. It goes without saying that this 5@5 period is mostly for us, the enthusiasts. I doubt many casual parkgoers traverse Kings Island's Facebook often enough to even find the 5@5. So in effect, they've asked for questions from their biggest (and, as the biggest typically are, most critical) fans. But what it really comes down to in my opinion is the park's willingness to do this 5@5. As he said, he is not a computer answering these questions, he is a person. And it would be very difficult for any of us, even facing our harshest critics, to show a willingness to sacrifice our personal time just to have to "ignore" some of the obnoxious, redundant, and plain old rude way that questions are asked. If you have a point to prove about prices, Son of Beast, or personal complaints, do them here where they can be sorted out - don't bring them directly to the park and muss up one of the most generous and inviting things they've done in years. Well said.
  17. Happy Birthday!!!
