I'm not saying Apollo is any better. Ki is in the middle. Either way senior mngt is gone. Q seems to be the winner because it can block the deal. This whole thing is a mess. If cf had let someone else buy the park maybe this wouldn't have happened. If the sale goes bad I would guess more cost cutting if that is even possible. Any thing not essential is in the cross hairs

if Q wants to build cf back up then im all for it. i still have a lot of friends there and i dont want them to get the shortend. they survived the paramount days and the cf sale and hopfully they will survive the Q

so q sits back and watches it all come crashing down and pics up the pieces and takes over? nice here we go ki fans even more cut backs. wonder what goes first? im sure there are some things that could be stopped to save money.

i didnt mean to come across as cf hates ki. they did give us cool stuff. lets try this cf had good intentions when they bought ki. they stripped down the park to run a smaller budget and cut costs. i just think that maybe if you put a gun to cedair fair and said pick ki or cf cf wins. its to much for them to handel and i wish Cedar Fair would do the right thing and let ki go

it will be a wild ride. this could in any direction. i am hoping for universal Kings Island or disneyland over mason. i can not even imagine the emotion that is running through the offices

I would hardly call that quick and easy. i know it sounds cold but cp didnt play games and look us all in the eye and say it will be okay. After afew meetings we knew that it was over. dept by dept you were offered a job with less pay or walked out the gate. some dept vp on down gone no offer. hr was wiped out in one day

at least when cp bought ki it was quick and easy. they came in and fired senior people and moved on. this new disaster could go on and on and on and on. i feel for the few that have survived this long in upper managment.

we go from 2 big rich companies making moves one inside one outside to 2 broke companies merging. this is such a bad idea its kinda like sears buying kmart just to have their land and product. to echo the man covering this 031610 is the day baby everything else is just smoke and mirrors
