And they don't have an excuse. Its been over three years since the acquisition. It should have been updated over the 2006-2007 offseason IMO. I mean they gave Cedar Point a complete redo that replaced a fully functional site. No excuse at all...

I think that the water park idea could be more profitable than the amusement park idea.

The last time I went to CP (October 11 before any of this news materialized) I decided to randomly take the time and take a good deal of pictures of Demon Drop. I don't know why I did it as Ive been to CP many times with my camera but I just decided I might as well. Imagine my surprise when I heard DD is leaving. I will post my pics of DD soon but I'm saving the TR (I pre-typed it) until the off-season when everyone needs a little bit of CP.

^Paramount implemented one. For one it sent Stealth, a coaster, to Carawinds so if CFs is anything similar...

Is it just me or does that "official" PDF look a little unofficial?

The one at MA asked me all those things as well as asking me to rate some of the park such as employees, roller coasters, flat rides, landscaping etc. They also asked about a specific ride (In this case TH) which led me to believe that CF might have done the same to SOB at KI.

Does KI give the surveys when you walk out of the park? I know I took one at MA when I went up there (I ranked TH lowly I might add).

Wouldn't they just melt them down? Not to insult you but I don't think that's right. That seems just made up by someone to say "Ohh look thats a reason Beast's forest is haunted". Sorry but I don't really believe in ghosts.

^Agreed, but you and me both know that 305 will get much more attention because of the fact that it is taller and faster.

Looks like another great B&M hyper! I think 305 is kinda overshadowing this coaster a little bit...

If I'm not mistaken that was a different kind of Drop Tower. I believe the accident occurred on this kind. While our Drop Tower is one of these.

You do know Paramount doesn't own King's Island anymore, right? Sorry... Pet peeve... Otherwise this is a great post. All the explanations are very plausible for all these "haunted" places. Personally I don't believe any of these haunted rumors...
