  1. Congo Falls, Diamondback, WWC, and the WT log flume. And does The Crypt have water features? Diamondback is NOT OK because of the splashdown. What if you get soaked? It can happen.
  2. The thread isn't about next year, it's about the park more than 10 years from now. The economy will definitely be different then.
  3. Unfortunately, a lot of what they own is protected area.
  4. I have an idea for future expansion: How about buying some land near KI, and build a monorail going from one part to another? Certainly saves money, unlike moving KI to a new location.
  5. The result would probably be condos where KI sits.
  6. Some of that land is protected because of the Little Miami River. And most of the land they can use is rough. But a terrain coaster would be nice!
  7. It just slipped my mind. Maverick. Thanks! EDIT: Okay, I think we're just trying to increase our post counts
  8. There's definately more than six flags on that hill...
  9. Don't you mean ride on? hooky, who just HAD to... Edit: And what ride is in my avatar anyway? I wanted to say DB, but it looks like Intamin track. It's not MF or TTD.
  10. It's HAD, not had. There's a difference.
  11. Then what was opened in CI the year you were born? I was born in '96, so FoF. And all of these were built in 1996.
  12. It's somewhere in between Advil and aches, but it leans more towards aches.
  13. So without them, you just move around a lot? Nothing else happens? hooky, trying
  14. Well, I haven't been to KI since 2006 (and before SOB was closed for the season!), but I'll try to answer your questions the best I can. 1. I don't think so. But I think someone should clarify this one. 2. I don't know. They didn't have this in 2006. 3. Many people on this forum say that SOB is the one to avoid, but I've only rode it with the large trains with the loop, so I can't say anything about that. And it's probably notgoing to be open tomorrow. Vortex is, apparently, also rough, but not as rough as SOB. 4. The majority of this forum's members say that The Crypt is a Ferris wheel that does a couple of flips. 5. I don't know, as I've never ridden on the go karts. I'm just saying the forum's opinions. Not everyone agrees with these opinions. I think you should wait for a couple more people to answer your questions. Edit: See above for #2 and 5.
  15. On ridewarriornation.com, Disaster Transport's card shows people wearing 3D glasses. But I doubt KI's making a 3D coaster.
  16. It had a splashdown last time I went, which was in 2006. All of the water must be being used for DB
  17. Tilt-a-Whirl! Enterprise! Non-water slide! Maybe I should stop.
  18. I've been to KI, CP, and WDW. Never Universal. But I still say Universal because of your situation. Or possibly WDW.
  19. The Flight Deck Kings Island pictures are for a different Flight Deck.
  20. There is no requirement that people wear shirts in the dry park. Three rides in the "dry" park don't require shirts to ride. WWC, Flume, and Congo. People can walk around without shirts, they just need to put them on before riding most rides. I beg to differ. I have MANY times seen security direct young males to put on their shirts in the dry park, and yes, this year. In addition, "people" cannot walk around without shirts, as people includes both males and females. Well, they can, but not without consequences. See also Cedar Point's website (since Kings Island, like on so many other things, is totally devoid of relevant content): http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/park/rides/ride_policy.cfm There is NO reason to think Kings Island's rule would be any different. The only attire required to be worn on WWC, the log flume, and (I assume) Congo Falls, is shoes. I am level 1 (fully trained) on both flume and WWC, so I know the requirements to ride. In the park there might be a requirement for shirts, but it's a rule that isn't told to ride ops, and I've never seen it enforced, and I don't feel it should be if they're going to allow people on the water rides without them. So people can wear JUST shoes? hooky, who couldn't wait for Terpy
  21. I found something funny on Bing. DB bis under construction, yet Firehawk is nowhere to be seen and SOB still has its loop.
