  1. Both of them went by, but basically if you had a GP or PP you could bring 1 friend and only pay $10 for a ticket.
  2. http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20100704/NEWS01/307040036/Coasters-shut-down-at-Kings-Island-
  3. Because of it's location it does cost a decent amount of points. We were originally going to get two rooms, until we saw the ammount of points needed for two nights. If you have a large amount of people they do have roll-away beds available for $15.
  4. There's a Hampton 4 miles away, let me find the link. EDIT: Here you go http://www.hamptonin...ctyhocn=SKYOHHX It's actually 4.5 http://www.hamptoninn.com/en/hp/hotels/localguide_popup.jhtml?ctyhocn=SKYOHHX&category=entertainment
  5. I stay at the Hampton Inn when I go, but that's just because I have Hilton reward points. It's about 5 miles from the park and I think runs $148 a night.
  6. Guys stop feeding it. The mods will delete him when they get on.
  7. King James here is not the place to put those opinions. Be Nice, or please GTFO.
  8. I'm going to upgrade my pass from gold to platinum and I wanted to know of you guys that went to Cedar Point recently if it scanned. If it didn't scan than I was going to go to the main gate instead of the marina.
  9. Waiting on the breaks after a night ride on The Beast: "Has anyone seen my pants? Who wants to go back and help look for them?" Same guy a minute later: "Twilight sucks! And Harry Potter."
  10. Just rode beast for the first time in darkness after the fireworks. It was intense! Unfortunantley, they still have the light on in the helix. Also, 4-3 is the worst row that I have even ridden on The Beast. Me and my sister are now both bruised from the sides of the seats htting us. Now if they had Timberliners, it would be a different story. *insert wink that the mobile site wont't let me use*
  11. ^ FD doesn't have trim brakes, does it?
  12. According to the search, opening to approximatively 1993 http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2074&hl=beast%20lake%20year&st=15 SEARCH IS YOUR FRIEND USE IT
  13. The search function is your friend. http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=21268&st=0&p=374118&hl=beast%20water&fromsearch=1entry374118
  14. If there were no food or drink stalls at the park no one would complain about food prices.
  15. Or it may have been like SOB where he had a pre-existing health condition and he ignored the signs.
  16. Someone also died after riding Firehawk, he stopped breathing while on the ride and it's still running.
  17. My friend brought in three bags of chips in his bag. Also, near 6 when I left one time they didn't even have security present!
  18. The more you post I think you're that guy that sells books about roller coaster accidents. And if no one likes going up or down why does TTD and rides like DT have one-hour waits almost every day?
  19. If the line is into both turnstiles it might be better to do SRL. If it only goes through one-and-a-half turnstiles or less it will be better to go in the line.
  20. Think of it this way, The potential energy is staying the same. When the lift hills goes faster or slower the mechanical energy changes. Mechanical energy is the sum of the potential and kinetic at a current time on a mechanical device I.E. the lift hill. When the hill moves it has more kinetic energy but is still mostly potential energy. It doesn't affect the ride too much but slowing the lift can slow the rest of the ride.
  21. Ok, so get this. I recently drank a large vault in approximately 10 seconds. Being the idiot I am, I got on monster. I started to feel sick so I went over to a picnic table near monster for about 5 minutes. Bored, I headed towards Vortex and got in the front row of one of the middle cars. This was my second time on Vortex, so I was excited! I made it through the ride ok, but on the final section of brakes before the station, I covered my mouth. My friend next to me told me to throw up out the side but with the OTSR I was unable. It let loose like a cannon and nailed the guy in front of me. The guy behind me congradulated me for holding it in, probably so he didn't get hit and his girlfriend was screaming to let her off of it. The first aid truck comes and tells me I can get a free t-shirt in the front. I walk instead of taking the truck like a fool and when I get to GR the kid I peucked (is that how it's spelled?) is there with his sister. While I'm getting my free Diamondback first rider shirt, his sister glares at me. I was laughing since I felt fine now and pretended to throw up again. Me and my friend couldn't stop laughing for hours!
  22. ^ I have shorts with two buttons and I think my phone would fall out so I don't bring it. Great idea adding a third button I may have to try that out!
  23. It's also good for baseball bats, golf clubs, fishing poles, tennis rackets, canoes, and many other things. It's not just used for automobiles, but would definitely not work on a roller coaster. Especially when you see how much DBs first hill bends!
  24. I swear part of the track was missing on the top of the hill. Guess I was wrong.
