  1. That picture made me think... hehe... i saw jeff siebert at sears... hahahahaha. i dont know why that's funny.
  2. this is going to come off as selfish, maybe, but the best experience i had with employees was being one, and meeting some of the coolest people ever. people of all different types, races, ages, we just clicked, and it was really cool. I work a job now where i don't get along with a good number of the people. The age differences are a lot more extreme, but still... I miss Kings Island undescribably just because... it was so much fun to work at scream zone/az carts... i think i'm going to fill out my rehire packet right now.

I wouldnt assume everyone here is smaller than you... I'm 6'2" and built like a linebacker or something like that... But anyways, I would love to see a pic of KI right now, with all the snow on it. hahaha no school.
  5. 16+ first year games-6 16+ first year food- 6.50 .50 raise for returners... thats what i know.
  6. To each his own i guess, but... it makes me want to puke... I would like it if it were blue and orange minus the checkerboard... but blue and red? blah... oh well. good rides dont need good color... look at DZ... also ugly.
  7. Go into food... better pay, free lunch....
  8. I think it's really ugly... the checkerboard is so 80's... just my .02... But I'm sure it'll be a fun ride.
  9. I got my packet too... Gotta figure out if I like my new job though. And hope they keep me past the holidays.
  10. People would like the top spin if it wasnt in a box. But TR isnt the point. The point is that it is possible for something like that. The figures on that site aren't exact. And you don't speak for everyone because you don't like a m onorail. People might like it. It would be cool, thats what I know, and some of us have the freedom to dream, so
  11. Yeah well, we're talking about a park that spent over 15 million on a flat ride. Not that i don't like tomb raider, i'm just saying. And if they used steel track... its a possibility. It probably won't happen, mostly because we live in the middle of the country in a place that doesn't generate nearly as many tourists as Orlando. But hey. I hope youre wrong, and i mean that in the nicest way.
  12. But the monorail was sold a long time ago, like 5 or 6 years... And... I don't know. But what else spans the length of the park and can be considered a family ride? besides a transportation thingy i mean
  13. You could at least be open minded... Instead of thinking i'm wrong, at least admit that it is a possibility, because, in all truth, it is. A train extension is also a possiblility, although i think that would be dumber, even if it is cheaper, because trains dont go uphill very efficently, and rearranging the paths would be a logistical nightmare. And the animal safari wasn't used for transporting around the park, it was a ride that you rode to see the animals. Also, if I recall correctly, the skyway across the fountain was removed due to the fact that it broke down all the time and it was difficult to get people off when they were stuck above the fountain. so a monorail that went across the park would, in fact, be a new thing to the park. The train is old and useless, if you ask me. But, i will not say that it will not be expanded because that would be too narrow minded for me.
  14. It's going to be our long anticipated monorail... I hope. I just thought of that. Something that spans the entire length of the park... could stop in coney, could stop at the tower... never know. Some people will shoot this down right away, but i think it would help to be open minded for something like this. I say monorail or people mover this year, coaster that goes big next year.
  15. If Top Gun is gone... it could be a bridge or something.... I'm sure there's something in the works. Or maybe they stack up Action Zone on purpose, to attract people to Ice Cream Zone. I was thinking that maybe the path would be the one that goes under the AE queue... it could make it to FOF with little problem. I'd watch for that.
  16. people at my school are gay and wear it because they like it.
  17. You guys have it all wrong. Not to flame, I'm just informing. Sponge Bob is, unfortunately, very popular in my demographic. He's geared more or less toward middle/high school kids... I personally loathe him, but many people my age love him. I'm sure the show will be popular next year, just proving that people are getting dumber. The perfect example of spongebob's demographic is all the stuff in Hot Topic at Tri-County mall. Little kids don't go in a store that has the gates of hell in the front. But lo and behold, there is so much sponge bob crap in there... people have no taste.
  18. Well that sucks. Sponge Bob is... I won't get into what sponge bob is, but he is a sign of the apocalypse to say the least.
  19. I think the maps today suck... the rides are drawn horribly, a third grader could do it... it's a joke really... they've used the same map for like 5 years. And in the fearfest map, they used the same exact map, just covered up rides that weren't used like face off with little trees... I can scan in one to prove it... I know it's a business and all, but if there business is serving the customer, their maps should be a little more accurate and more professional.
  20. So you're going to tell me that you've never run a car into the rail? bull. and where do you get off calling me a moron? especially when i'm not the only one who said it. youre justa little ***** and i think you know it.
  21. I am in agreement with dane, however I won't let it go that you people are being so ignorant. Whether or not you agree with me and jovian, you should agree that those cars should not derail under any circumstances. You should understand that they should be built to withstand things like that. They are made to run on the rail, and as such they should not derail. Blah. I will take the high road here, and not flame, as some assholes have done here, and we should wonder who the smart ones are there. But whatever. It absolutely wouldn't be funny if some dyslexic fyrfyter had to come cut someone out of the antique cars with the jaws of life, however that was not the case. And if you think that the sum of money it took to repair the damage was anything Kings Island would miss, or would impact new ride construction, then I would suggest that you think again. p.s. I don't mean to critiscize firefighters in general, some just are...

    Dolphin Show

The stones aren't in Action Zone, they're in the Paramount story.
  23. I'm not bragging about the food we waste... It's how things are done... and the ride is most likely doomed in the first place. and I agree with most of your points, however, I don't condone the breaking of things, it's just my nature and the nature of many other people to try and derail a car, just to see, because we as humans are curious. And had someone been injured, I would be hard pressed to find this funny. But the fact of the matter is, nobody was hurt. It sucks that something most likely broke, but at the same time, isn't it good that it broke in the hands of someone who didn't try to get out into the park? Can we be thankful for that? I hope we can get over this, and I am sorry I passed judgement on you. It just angers me when people call me things I don't think i warrant. If i warrant it, then I welcome the comment, as I have quite a few times here. That's all I guess. No hard feelings.
  24. Yeah, lets all make fun of me. Anyway. You're going to tell me that you've never ran the car into the rail, just to see what happens? Lest we forget, I am but 16. And it is funny. Nobody got hurt, therefore I find it to be somewhat amusing. Forgive me for not being mature. I am an associate, but so what? why should that seperate me from anyone else, ESPECIALLY when I am outside the park and out of uniform as I am everytime I write on this messageboard? I made a point of not gawking when I was in uniform. I am a good associate, will be a foreman next year if I so desire. Why should my amusement over a small accident mean anything? I know I'm not the only one. Nobody has replied in my support, and nobody will, and that's life. And you speak of it as though something very expensive has broken... It was a single piece of wood or fiberglass fence. One single rail. That is worth less then the food we waste at Scream Zone every single day. And quite honestly, I don't like you, whoever the hell you are. You know too much. :: WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE!!!!::-Edited by TeenageNinja.
