  1. Of course, most people should probably be picking up maps when they go, yet it's still confusing.......
  2. Haha! I've pulled a Terpy! He spelled "underrated" with one R.
  3. I'm not sure about it being underated, but it's for sure underrated. CincyMan98, copying Terpy.
  4. Most of this does have to do with location though. Maybe they could add a sign next to Drop Tower or Delirium say "This way to Flight Deck". I've been to KI at least 30 times, and half of those times I can't figure out where Flight Deck is!
  5. I rode the one at GWL, and fell off of it during the toilet bowl. The drop caught me by surprise, so I slipped off and did the rest of the slide on my body....I will never ride one of those again.
  6. I'm just making sure - even though it does say on the website that it's safe - but I was looking at Holiday World's ride restrictions on rides like Paul Reveres Midnight Ride and Scarecrow Scrambler. Their restrictions are 36". My sister is 36" and is 4 years old, and very lightweight. Is it okay for her to ride - just making sure. Because Kings Islands' restrictions on rides like that is 40"-42". Just wondering if it is safe, and why do you think they have totally different restrictions?
  7. ^^Roller coasters like Prowler, Voyage, and the ones with banked turns and Gravity Group. At least in my opinion that's a modern coaster.
  8. I don't care what the ride is unless it's thrilling. Millennium, you said they have enough flat rides - don't they have enough roller coasters as well?
  9. Just forget my last several posts....I was tired..........
  10. I'm sorry I'm acting like a mod, but for goodness sakes people, get on topic! We keep transferring back to the stupid theme argument.
  11. I said no judging. I just said it looked okay. End of discussion......
  12. It doesn't look that great with different theming too me. I've never ridden it. Please no judging........
  13. The Crypt is not even exciting.....even with the theme, it doesn't seem very exciting to me. It's a waste of space (the huge building) and a waste of money. Just get rid of it, and replace that same area with a nice, fun, flat ride like an Enterprise.
  14. Alright guys let's try and get back on topic..... Now, the top 3 arrow design failures is something very heartbreaking in my......
  15. I never said I was comparing Disney to KI.I just said that they have themed rides that are not intense, unlike other rides in MANY other parks are focused less on theme, but intensity and speed.
  16. ^Good point. Rides you find at Disney World may not be too intense (but their lengths are pretty long....) yet the rides are heavily themed, many effects, and they are all amazing. I find that better than a good coaster with Gs. I know, I'm weird.
  17. So far from my experience this summer, it has been packed almost every day. Especially all of Mason. I went to The Beach last Tuesday, and waited a half hour for all the slides. My friend said he went to KI on the same day and said it was HORRIFIC, and the line of cars to get it were backed up to the interesection (I forget what it is) right before the entrance.
  18. What is with these fires popping up all of a sudden? It seems like it's been this summer that a ton of fires have been at amusement parks.
  19. The only reason I think people are saying it isn't intense is because of its roughness. Maverick is very rough, compared to Millie's smooth transitions (at least from what people have said, I've never been to CP). Same with Diamondback for me. Diamondback isn't very intense IMO. Flight of Fear or Invertigo is way more intense for me, because of its Gs and close, compact track, which makes the ride a lot rougher.
  20. I don't want to sound rude, but could you please try and fix all the run on sentences in your posts? It's very hard to read when there's barley any periods or commas. And as for the post, how could the operator say that? I mean, risk the life of your visitor? It's like she didn't even try to figure out what was wrong with it, or to try and help the rider.
  21. So many bugs, so little time........
  22. [quote name='IslandAddict' date='09 July 2010 - 06:06 PM' timestamp='1278713218' post='390251' I was really scared my first time, but I ended up having a lot of fun(That's what she said). Inappropriate much? Anyways, it is true though. No matter how scared you are (I rode Drop Tower and I was practically hyperventilating), you are still going to have TONS of fun. You'll end up being addicted.
  23. ^Hence the nickname "spaghetti - bowl roller coaster"..........
  24. Actually, my only advice is - just ride it. That's what I did. I was nervous a ton when I was in line for Diamondback, but I made myself go on it. After that, I was never afraid of roller coasters again.
  25. I first rode The Racer, and I rode that for years. Then I was like "Dad, I want to ride Diamondback." So I don't really have any say in this advice
