  1. Planet Snoopy will take some getting used to. My kids love Noggin and Nick and all of the characters. But looking past this "questionable decision" for financial purposes....... What are some predictions for how current rides can be changed? The options are somewhat limited since Nick had a variety of characters and cartoons. Let's assume rides remain primarily in tact with only some retheming done. Avatar - becomes Surf's Up with Snoopy or Charlie Brown as the character Fairly Odd Coaster - returns to The Beastie? Swiper's Sweepers - becomes Snoopy's Sweepers with Snoopy statue in center Blue Skidoo - becomes Red Baron airplane ride Runaway Reptar - becomes Woodstock Reptar and dinosaur statue remains Little Bill Coaster - becomes Linus Giggle Coaster with Linus decals Wild Thornberry's - removes association with Snoopy and enters Rivertown area on map or maybe has affiliation with the Great Boat Race Charlie Brown Nick Jr Drivers - becomes Peanuts Drivers as statues are replaced with Pepermint Patty, Sally, Linus, and gang Nick Go Round - becomes Schroeder Go Round as Chalie Brown theme music is played Action theater - returns to having movies like the stunt theater show from 1998 Halloween events could get better with emphasis on the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown but rides seem limited on characters to associate with each. Ideas??? Get creative!!
  2. Anyone heard anything on Michigan's Adventure (Cedar Fair in Muskegon MI)?
  3. I have been to these parks and have somewhat ranked from best to worst overall. Cedar Point - top of the line park, however not best option if kids are under 48" Busch Gardens Europe - beautiful park with great rides, nice themed regions King's Island - good variety of rides, may be best option if kids are under 48" Holiday World (Santa Claus IN) - Free soft drinks, free parking, nice theme areas with waterpark, great clean park HersheyPark (Hershey PA) - has expanded with new water areas, great variety of rides Kennywood (Pittsburgh PA) - good variety of rides but park seemed dirty last trip(2008), traditional park Knoebel's (Elysburg PA) - went this year and was not too impressed; free admission, abundance of rides, GREAT food, but location was near nothing and workers were unfriendly locals, traditional park Idlewild Park (Ligonier PA) - great for younger children w/ Mr Roger's and Storybook Forest areas Dutch Wonderland (Lancaster PA) - great for younger children w/ many kiddy rides Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom (Louisville KY) - located on Kentucky State Fairgrounds, not exactly a beautiful park but many Looney Toons themed rides in Kiddyland, waterpark available Camden Park (Huntington WV) - traditional park w/older rides, good for under 48" crowd Lake Winnepesaukah (Rossville GA) - traditional park w/older limited rides, concerts offered on Sunday evenings
