  1. Under the rug. What I mean is ,are they even having any discussions or is it waiting for new ownership to settle this?
  2. I think the rosebowl will be changed. Afterall , that seems to be everybody's complaint, that and no loop. There is no need for the lifthill and drop to change. Another problem is the wait. All this is getting swept under the rug. Cmon guys , getter dunnnnn.

  4. Hey everyone only 101 more days until Christmas.lol.Maybe we'll know something by then.First drop on sob must be saved. IT IS A STRUCTURE WONDER.

I have posted in the past what needs to be done with the rosebowl.Now all I can do is hope.The rosebowl MUST relieve stress to riders somehow.The only way is by a split ,add some track and then second lift hill. The inner track of rosebowl will travel much slower.About one-third of the outer ring should be removed.That should be enough for this idea to work.ALL the other features, loops, heavier trains, triple downs,bunny hops could all be added in new section of track before entering second lifthill.Connect top of lifthill to top of inner track of rosebowl.To me , this is the only way to put the smiles back on the doubters faces.

  7. Terpy good to hear from you.Do you think it is possible that they take out the rosebowl as well as saving the first drop.Thoughts.
  8. Would the noise on the chain itself be a NO for a go.Did it always sound that way?
  9. Is it possible that there could be something wrong with the chain lift (the noise)as well as more structure failure in the rosebowl.I think they are just giving up like the Reds.

  12. So I guess we have to wait until sometime in November or later for them to make up their minds huh.But I guess thats all we ever do.

I say take out about a quarter of the outer helix for a second drop,travel a few thousand feet to a second lift hill like dad.Then connect to very top of helix.The cars will travel slower into the inner helix,but hopefully make it to the midbrake area without the brake.Loops,triple downs,tunnels,wider and heavier cars and some steel supports could all be added.I mentioned before of a smaller train. 4 cars, 6 in each, total of 24.Loops does not have to be 118ft.The only problem I have with this is if the cars make it from second lifthill to midbrake area. I like the 218ft structure,please don't throw it all away.How many 218ft wooden structures are there in the world today? Make this the longest coaster PERIOD. KI , Cedar Fair this could work with less injury.Just get top notch construction team to do the job.I still think sonny could kick b--- with that new track in place. Heck,throw in some bunny hops into the mix as well.I LIKE THOSE JMHO tjc

  15. Hmm ,burn or smash down 40 million dollars. Now who's being unrealistic.I think a second drop hill into a loop and then a triple down after loop incline.With the momentum of train going into second chain lift.Connect lift hill to interior track of rosebowl.This will relieve stress to track and then take out mid course break.I know MONEY MONEY MONEY.But I'm just trying to take the violent shaking out of rosebowl as well.The second loop goes back to original location.This ride needs tunnels.LOTS of tunnels.NOISE,NOISE, more NOISE.
  16. Yes I Am, some of the stress could be relieved by running 4 car trains and smaller loops.Remember the rosebowl would be split.People would like the loop returned,so I figure why not add an extra one.
  17. I think the rosebowl should be split up somehow by adding more track. Get some heavier trains,but only run 4 car -total 24 people. Add some steel supports,only in stressed areas of helix.Now hears the good part.With the new track you could have 2 loops.1 in the old spot and 1 in the new. The loops does not have to be 118 feet high since they scrapped the old one.Tunnels could be added for the roooaarrr of the trains.Money will always be an issue,but tearing down a 218 ft structure is pointless.Please let Gravity Group do this.I know this can work somehow.Did you know that the Voyage cost 6.5 million dollars and thats with steel supports.Good bargain for a GREAT coaster.Can you imagine a triple down on Son of Beast.2 loops and tunnels in the helix .AWESOME.By adding more track it could exceed 10,000 feet.HEY, WAIT A MINUTE,Cedar Fair OWNS THIS RIDE NOW SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR GET TO WORK. A new record in the making JMHO
