  1. I once caught someone's hat on the Flight of Fear launch as it hit me in the chest
  2. heh, i had a thread just like this. but um, i lost my "Canon Powershot A590 IS" on the hill going into the turn around on The Racers. I wasn't mad just disappointed. lol I had some sweet photos of me & my friend and the rides. i never got it back and I filled out a report. I saw it fall into the center of the curve, down where the grass is. I called for weeks asking did they find it. I went back to park and the grass back there was cut, so i was like WTF? lol , I loved that camera
  3. Inside? The queue video wasn't playing? Uh-oh... lol, naw:), this was only in the switchbacks outside. when entered the hanger, all the switch backs were closed and we walked straight into saucer. The video was playing this was on june 30th or the 31st, i cant remember
  4. I heard "you found me" by the fray, while in line for Flight of Fear
  5. hahaha! that's me! I just had to do it
  6. maybe Extream Home Make Over and Ty can do something with it.......i am SURE that would boost the parks ratings where would they find a bus that big to hide it. LOL
  7. Anyone ever get motion sick. I used to never get sick. I rode most of the coasters at Cedar Point in 2007, then this year was my first time getting on a ride since then. i got onall the the normal coasters fine. Racer , beast ,flight fear, but as soon as i got on Vortex. when we hit the brakes i felt horrible. So i just manned up, and walked it off. lol i got on racer again then got on the very front (far left) seat of face off. After that i was done i could barely walk, my head hurt my vison was shaky and y stocmach felt horible. so i went home. everytime the car would stop my head would pound harder. or if i closed my eyes my stomach turned. whem i finnaly got home i got out the car and instantly had to throw up. i was sick for the next three days. like wow wtf? lol i went back a few months later and even felt funny of Flight of Fear, i ride i would never getr sick on. I got on Vortex again and sat in the front seat so i could see what where i was going and look ahead. and i left my glasses on this time. it wasnt as bad as last time...untill we began to enter the station i had to use everything in my power to not throw up in the seat. I got off and went to th e batroom and had to throw up again.. it ruined my whole day. lol i used to never get sick though i would just feel bad for like 10 secs then i would be fine. hmm, maybe it's just all the stress i have, lol i dunno hopefully it isnt permanet i love coasters . So anyone want to say anything?
  8. as you approach the cobra roll from the front seat, it looks as your going to slam into another part of the track and yes , you get pinned into the back seat, lol
  9. what about the part at the end when you get to wave to the people that you were just standing in line with as they go the down the first drop. That's awesome when you convince someone behind you to get on for the first time. then you get to see how scared they are as they drop. and say to your self.."they'll be alright" lol
  10. for me it's a juggle in between the first or the very last. they are both equally awesome
  11. lol , wow @ the responses, well yeah the helix is pretty sweet
  12. whats your favorite part The Beast? Mine has to be the second outrageous long tunnel. the way the scremas reverberate through the tunnel and how it seems allot darker in the rear seats, due to the fact you cant see the light coming from under the track. plus it just seems so eerie in there and claustrophobic and all the noise. But it's also soothing because it's feels like your away from all the stress of life. lol I know, weird right so, whats yall fav part?
  13. on a sidenote, this same day. i was riding and me and my freind took a seat in the last car. but after a few moments the ops made us trade seats with some people a few cars ahead. while in line, these same people asked me how the restraints were because one of them was concerned if they would fit in the ride. i guess. so is the last car larger or somthing? lol plus after we got in our new seats we realized our restraints wouldnt lock. but none of the ops seemed to notice, so i began to get paranoid and i raised my hand and waved to attention,..i was ignored, lol or maybe because i wasn't wearing my glasses i couldn't tell that respiosned , but im sure i was ignored cause my friend also said "helloo!" I thought, oh god, if they launch this train?! but eventually after a while someone walked up and said , "no one is locked in, we are aware". a few moments later, half the train began freaking out once they realized they were secure. it was hilarious. one of the ops yelled "we know!!!" then someone in the rain began arguing with one of their friends still in line. "naw man!, Everybody locked in, except yall'!!! LOL
  14. I have noticed that. I think it is because of the power surge that is needed for the launch. yeah thats what i thought too, or maybe it's for effect. but it doesn't always do it. I looked up and said to my friend "wow it seems darker in here" then it launched and the lights came up. i was like "hunh?, thats new"
  15. I agree it would kind of fit in with the whole wierd/alien tech theme. I also think Crypt's queue is a little dark... I can barely make my way through the queue and I know it pretty well. What about the dark part of Scooby Doo's castle queue. LOL
  16. lol thats dumb, "Cedar Fair fail". they didnt even stay off for that long, it was only like a few seconds. lol
  17. I remember when i used to wait in line for Flight of Fear, during the film that plays something would happen and then all the lights in the hanger area would shut off and make everyone scream. I haven't seen it happen this year though. oh and has anyone noticed that right before some of the launches, the lights in the station dim. I thought was pretty cool
  18. lol, for a se,c I thought you meant they take down the entire coaster, haha
  19. I love The Beast crew, it's always fun. I was there july 31st and there was some guy that was really hyped up and got everyone in the station to do the wave and he was teasing his female coworker, lol. then as I was going down the station ramp after the ride, i heard him singing a nursery rhyme, he just changed the words to include The Beast. i cant remember which song though , lol he was also doing the "Rawrr": sound, so I did a "rawr!" back to him.
  20. yes "summer of place" is classic, the sound of that makes me envision Kings Island, lol
  21. RIP SOB. hopefully it isn't so. it'll be the end of an era, lol
  22. No it's not This isn't the thread for the argument, but I'm going to do it anyway. It is completely pointless. The midcourse was turned off under Paramount. There is no midcourse even installed on the clone at Six Flags America. Therefore, that trim brake is completely unnecessary other than because Cedar Fair loves trim brakes. Ok, I got that off my chest. I feel better now. I was thinking they did that to increase capacity times or whatever. With the mid-course brake run , they can safely launch a train while another is still in the spaghetti bowl.
  23. Oh and one last thing. if they do tear it down. I want a peace of wood from it or a small strip of rail
  24. lol exactly, like "l well i guess that answered that question!"
