Crypt?!?

sadly I never rode the crypt when it was good. I stood in line for three hours the year it opened and it broke down right when i reached the entrance to the building. So i rode this year back in may. we didn't notice any pee smell, lol. but the people behind us thought they were in line for Diamondback. we told them what were really waiting for and they said "oh? well what does this ride do" we said we never been on it before and explain with our hands of what we've been told and read about he ride. the guys eyes lit up as we explained and he pulled his girlfriend along and said "lets get on this!". lol. but yeah so i was excited to as we sat in the seats, although I was worried I may get sick. I always get sick on flat rides. but I wanted to at least ride it. we were strapped in and i said to my friend and the people we had me in line "what if they turn off those lights?!!." so now I'm even more excited so the ride started and the light went off and awkward music began to play and we began the slow backwards climb. then it reached the top and did a free fall swing and all the way around , stopped and then did it in the other direction and all other sorts of swinging . lol at the end it turned the gondola at a 90 degree angle and shook which got a few genuine screams from the ladys . then it lowered us toward the floor as if we would impact it. then it reset to normal position and lights began flashing and drums were playing. then it was over. I looked around like "what, that's it!" the ride op said, "how was that ride!" there were allot of "boos" and "whats". It would have been fun just too short. it felt like doing cart wheels in a euro club. lol
4. Name some songs that make you think of or envision a beautiful day at Kings Island or any amusement park. for me i would have to pick Mr Blue sky by the electric light orchestra light and day, the polyphonic spree hmmm, I'll think of more and post back, LOL

5. lol yeah, alot of people think it only goes upside down once (the corkscrew at the end) but it actually has 4 inversions there's a cobra roll which is two. the corkscrew at the end. and there on more, but the i cant ever notice what kind,. lol i know it's there though
6. LOL maybe it was "The Beast!". it strikes again those night rides through those long silent curves are creepy, feels like your being watched Since when is it silent going around curves on The Beast? I always here The Beast screaming people screaming, and the air rushing by my ears. LOL, Well yeah, now that i think about, there are the screams. haha. Maybe i was just in awe at how beautiful everything was. the stars and moon and the woods. it was magical, i wanted to cry. lol. wait, your right, i rode The Beast last week and it was super loud. lol i dunno then i most have been in trance looking at everything.
7. I do believe that would be Charles...and yes, it cracks me up as well. lol I did the "rawr" Back. on the last day of august
8. LOL maybe it was "The Beast!". it strikes again those night rides through those long silent curves are creepy, feels like your being watched
9. lol oh, i'll ride again, i loved it anyway now Vortex, i think i've lost my ability to stomach it. or maybe i need more sleep. and less stress i hope thats what is. it's so saddening, LOL i was there on a friday july 31st and as soon as we got off i had to go throw up in the bathroom. ...sigh..lol wth im only 19 years old going on 20
10. ,LOL there's allot wrong in that one. wow. there's no blue train, there no loop on The Beast, and how would the train running on the same track take a different course...a switchtrack? ....now that sounds cool almost, lol like one of those elevator lift coasters from RCT3.....are those real?! LOL
11. yeah i had to look twice to make sure it wasn't The Bat, i was like hunh? I coulda sworn you can see part of beast from this angle ,lol
12. And you would gain the ability to touch the other side of the loops. Vortex should get lap bars. And keep the OTSRs, obviously talking sarcastically. It would be more thrilling, in my opinion, and may be less rough. But do I think Cedar Fair would REALLY put in lapbars? Maybe. speaking of touching loops, LOL. when you go up high into the structure on Flight of Fear, i wonder? could put your arms to side, (like you had wings) and grab the support beams, LOL or on The Beast helix tunnel too. lol funny but scary stuff the g-forces at certain points slow your body movement, so you wouldn't be able to draw your arms back quick enough ,LOL that almost happened to me coming out of the pretzel turn around on magnum at Cedar Point. i said (I can fly!!!) then i saw the beam coming, I was so scared. my arms felt so heavy
13. There has always been a rumors stuck in my head of.. During the Halloween events they used to turn the cars around on The Beast. (like on The Racer when it ran backwards) lol, is there any truth to that
14. which part are you talking about , I cant tell, but it sounds interesting. and wait wheres The Beast?! lol I see Vortex.
15. Best Death Ever. Maybe i sshould start a topic called "which ride would be the best to die on?" LOL The Beast!!!!
16. Could Vortex safely operate with just lapbar?, like the Flight of Fear. lol, cause that would be awesome. HAHA or the does The Bat-wing element not allow it? although Flight of Fear does have a freaky feeling in some of it's dive turns as you hang out the side of the car . Awesomeness in a box
17. It isn't the locked restraint that I'm worried about falling out of. What I worry about is falling out of the seat when that locked lapbar fails and becomes unlocked mid-ride! That's when you'll wish you did have a safety belt securing the lapbar to the seat. This is a hypothetical situation of course. Not having that lapbar safety belt is a psychological barrier that some people are more susceptible to than others, myself included. It's a primal instinct, a subconscious fear for one's life. I know that lapbar is locked in place, but some fundamental reflex in my brain still would like to see something locking the lapbar down. As the saying goes... seeing is believing. I can't explain it other than that. But statistically, I'm confident the lapbar is safely locked in place. And as someone else pointed out, a safety belt attachment would surely eat into ride capacity. yeah, it is psychological . some times i think the forces involved would simply snap the belt into if their was a failure, lol
18. haha yes when i first rode Millennium Force, the overbanked turns are freaky stuff, lol. but that makes the ride more fun. don't even get me started on TTD's vertical drop, that feels so dangerous, lol
19. thanks for the welcome!

lol , naw ive never been out of the usa. , Israel is my actual first name

20. Sigh, thats sad, lol I wish they would just turn them on if they need too, like an emergency or something. that's one of the best parts of The Beast, the night ride.
21. lol, yeah i called on the phone for weeks asking about it, no luck, my fault though, i should've been more careful. they had to find it though because i was there yesterday and the grass down there was freshly cut,lol
22. Whats the most valuable thing you ever lost on a ride and which ride were you on? for me it was my camera (Canon Powershot A590) in may of this year. I flew out my shirt pocket that i forgot to button, coming up the hill leading into the turn around on the red racer. It looked so cool and so horrible at the same time. the physic involded made it appear to float in mid-air in front of as the coaster rose. though I couldn't it grab due the fact i was strapped down. once we leveled out it fell down into the grass at the center of turn. first thing i ever lost
23. yeah, Diamondback's restraints are very comfy! just spooky, lol i was on it yesterday for the frist time. awesomeness, so much room to move and yeah, the belts may not be mandatory. I remember Vortex didn't always have them or the Corkscrew at Cedar Point I just enjoy the added sense of security , although i know how rare it is for something to fail
24. ive seen post saying that there are now lights placed near the track on The Beast. Is this true, i haven't had a chance to ride it at night in a few years. but i know that it was only moonlight back there when i did. that was the best part of The Beast. day and night gave two completely different rides. It would suck with lights ,lol
25. Does the resratint on Diamondback scare the crap out of anyone except me.lol. when sitting in the front seat .it's just worrying that there is no belt to hold the lapbar place if the main system should fail. though Im sure there are redundant systems probably. But i guess that adds to thrill factor as you come down the hill and leaning directly into the bar.haha. awesome ride though.
