It doesnt seems right. KI needs more rides before Cp. KI doesnt have very many and really only has a few great ones. Cp has A lot of great ones. Spread it out.

So my husband and i want to go to KI a couple of times this year on our gold passes without our young children but dont really know anyone who can keep our children. Anyone from the mason/cincinnati area know of any daycare/childcare places that have a good reputation and take children on a one day basis and into the evening? There was a place like this in another town we lived in but now one where we live now in Indiana. Most you have to sign up and come daily. Our kids are 5.5 and 4 and they have been to KI this year once already and will go again this summer but we would like to ride some big rides as well. Any leads would be great since my google search didnt turn up anything. Thanks.

Welcome back to Kings Island! Sounds like you had a great trip.

I have a 4 year old and 5 & 1/2 year old both rode scooby doo and loved it. They rode boo blasters on mothers day and had a blast. They werent scared at all. They begged us to get back in line and do it again. So we did it twice. We had read on here that it might be to scary and were a little worried about it but wanted to give them a shot and they loved it. Their fave part was the skeletons with red glowing eyes. I guess it depends on each individual kid and family. Just like some kids are scared to walk up to houses and trick or treat if the house is decorated. My lil boys dont scare easy, they just laugh stuff off.

Yesterday i heard two differnt things. 1. I heard that Vortex goes over 90 miles an hour and is the fastest ride in the park and then later in the day i heard a whole group of people calling Invertigo Vortex and how they were happy it go moved to Action Zone.

wow just looking at that makes my claustropohobia anxiety level sky rocket.

^ agreed, i was hopping that that long death row maze was leading up to something... like idk a small room with the electirc chair guy or something. But the toy thing creeps me out so that would be cool.

zomg my twisted whiskers calendar just ends december 31st 2009!!! i didnt look until today. But it just stops. do you think CF will refund my pass renewal?

well i missed sob most of the season , i will miss my kids eyes lighting up when they got to run up and see dora, deigo, pablo, uniqua etc. , and we will miss scooby doo a little but it wasnt our fav. As for DD i havent rode it cuz i havent been to CP since i was only tall enough for the kiddie rides so i wont miss what i havent rode.

The last time I asked her around 6 PM she was like in the 1290's on Sunday. I am not sure if she got to 1300 or not? if im correct i think i saw you on our last ride you would have been in row 16.

My fav part of the whole day was our last night ride on DB, we were in row 13 and there was an older woman behind us whom i heard say was on her thousand fifty somethingth (?) ride say " I'm bout to get my ride on" and it just got us pumped for one more ride.

Most times i can eat and ride and i have always been fine. But there was one day when i had a little bit of a cold and then i ate and rode Delirium and after words i felt like my stomach was spinning and i had to sit for a few minutes but i didnt actually "get sick"... but maybe that was because i wasnt breathing 100% due to the cold idk.

Awesome trip report. Sounds like you had a great time. the best part is being with good people.

i had a dream that i was on flight deack and i was going up the lift hill and i looked up to see a whole bunch (im talking millions) of spiders on that black bag thingy and then they all fell down on me and they were crawling all over me for the whole ride and i was screaming and crying and shaking and some lil kid turns around and looks at me and says "come on this is not a scary ride" and then i woke up.
