  1. Thank you Fudd. BTW love the avatar. I have one myself.
  2. Scooby ride is amazing. I like it better than Phantom Theater. So overrated, imo. I also think "Beastie" sounds dumb.
  3. This is so funny. You think what you just said isn't provoking an argument? Are you kidding? Well what is it then? If you are "too mature" for this whole thing, then stop posting and keeping it going. Because that IS provoking an argument, like it or not. It's the truth. I don't see how I'm being a hypocrite..? At all. Do you even know what that means? You really need some hobbies other than getting frustrated at my every word, kid.
  4. So what you just posted? Are you saying that isn't starting an argument?
  5. Nah, not starting a fight. I just believe that you are utterly incorrect on this. It's fine to be disappointed that NU is leaving. But don't expect that this move is going to effect whether kids of any age enjoy or do not enjoy the park. I just said it could, and I know kids are more familiar with Spongebob rather than Peanuts, so that might have an effect on whether they want to visit KI and see the characters they know and love.
  6. Honestly, your opinion of Snoopy weighed a lot into that post. It's obvious you hate Nickoldeon because you called it's biggest television show ever on the network, "an annoying yellow sponge". I personally love Peanuts, it's a classic, but here's what I think many family's could say: "We were going to Kings Island, but the main area my child likes has been changed, and h/she won't be able to play with the characters h/she loves anymore. I think we'll hold off because my child will have more fun with characters h/she watches at home." Also many families think the rides their child loves will leave with Nick Universe and a whole new Snoopy batch will come in, even though this is incorrect. Not many of you have kids: I Do. Not being a smart ass, but the truth is kids do not rush home from school these days wanting to watch Snoopy, but they do to watch Fairly Odd Parents and Jimmy Neutron. My 2 cents on your post. We are not in the 70's anymore, Spongebob SquarePants and Hannah Montana are popular, Snoopy and Scooby aren't with the majority of children. I look forward to reading your retraction posts next year after opening day. <G> If that's what gets you excited, then so be it. LOL. Will there will be children next year at KI having fun in Planet Snoopy? Of course! Tons of them! But will you see as many kids laughing and pointing at rides saying "LOOK! IT'S SALLY FROM PEANUTS!"?, Rather than "LOOK! It's Spongebob!" Will you see kids getting as excited getting their picture taking with characters? Didn't think so. Do you think the majority of kids in the country know Spongebob Squarepants better, or Snoopy better? Not in the 90's, TODAY. Again, didn't think so. Point proven. Looks like Woofie wants to start a fight.

  8. Uhh, I've been here longer than you. I just don't post as often, or try to make myself as noticed as you do. So what, that doesn't matter at all. You may be here longer, but it looks you also just want to start an argument and I'm not giving in. Sorry.
  9. Lately I've been searching stuff about Old Indiana Fun Park and knew the basic facts, like the train incident and everything. I know it also had a water park. But that's about it. Can anyone tell me everything there is to know? Like what happened in it's later years? Old pictures of the park when it was open? Was it ever as big as Indiana Beach, or even Holiday World? Lots of questions, I know, but this sounds really interesting and I want to know more about the now defunct park.
  10. ^ You're a newbie. I'll give you some time. Big Dipper is historic and I know it's not surprising that it's not been bought. But it is one of the greatest woodies of all time. Park looked dirty and uninteresting; but it's sad to see any park close. I miss Old Indiana.
  11. On a limb yesterday, I decided to drive up from Indy to KI. I got there around 3, and it was packed. I was in the mood for DB, which had a 30 minute wait. Not too bad. - The ride gave me a headache. It's fun, but I got zero airtime. And Millie ends this sucker any day of the week, imo. After that, I wanted a ride on Drop Tower, which was 20 minutes. FUN AND SCARY! Love this one, so much better than the thing at CP. I was really getting hungry, went and got some graeters, then did a marathon on Racer, which was a usual walk on. I got 11 times in about two hours, but the ride ops really took their time. Air time filled, smooth, and extremely fun. Wow. I then got a turkey leg that was extremely greasy, but it was good. Headed over to DB around 8, got two rides on it. At night it is a little better than day, but I was expecting more. So. Many. Lights. Invertigo and Beast have better night rides, unfortunately. Went over to Beast. 60 minute wait. Nah. I then wanted to see what AE was like at night (9:30 about) and all I can say is WOW. I usually hate the ride. But it is amazing at night. DB take a tip. No lights and I didn't know what was coming next! Fantastic. Then Fireworks. KI sucks at putting these off. Anyway, I got 18 rides in about 7 hours, not bad at all. DB - 4 Blue Racer- 3 Red Racer- 8 Adventure Express-2 Drop Tower - 1
  12. Excuse you? Someone doesn't agree with something that is not completely socially acceptable to a good deal of the American population, so you call them dumb and ignorant? I think that reflects on you more than anyone else. Wow...this post says it all. I'll let the Mods handle it themselves. How ignorant the majority of America can act.
  13. Why? Don't like being told that you're wrong? No, because you crave attention and I'm not going to give you anymore of it.
  14. To all the comments---IDGAF honestly. You don't have to like me because I don't like you either. And I don't deserve this sh*t (contrary to popular belief) You all make me sick. CedarPointer please never quote me again. Diamondback FOF is polite and I appreciate that. Take a hint from him everyone.
