I can't stand getting stuck in line behind someone who smells like BO! you'd swear they had never heard of deodorant. My last visit during the middle of the summer, i noticed so many stinky guests! i thought about hanging an air freshener around my neck or powerful perfume so i could at least smell myself instead of someone else.

how steep the incline is. Seriously..i have some strange thing about leaning back too far. I start having shortness of breath and freaking out (mildly) but once i go down hill every thing is good.. i'm odd

it should also be mentioned that it was beyond freezing that night (about 38 degrees) and that it had been a lot busier earlier in the day. and im pretty sure it was 11:22. (and im not kidding, or am i?) my point being, dont take that as an excuse to wait to go till haunt as it will only get busier each week, weather permitting. id imagine with halloween on a saturday this year it will be way beyond rediculous that day and not recommended for anyone. eh, don't get your panties in a bunch. my friend and i just went for the hell of it. We had already been to haunt and just decided to go last minute. Yes it was freezing, in fact i remember standing in line for The Beast when my friend received a weather advisory via text message saying that it had dipped below freezing We're just crazy enough to enjoy it though.

hmmm my favorite haunt memory.. a friend of mine and i were walking through cemetery drive. This was on Halloween night..barely anyone in the park! Anyway, two zombie dudes tried to scare us..wasn't really working, so they just walked with us and talked for a bit. (still..kind of staying in character) right before we exited, one of the zombie guys asked me "Do you know what time it is?" . I looked over at my friend who always has a watch. My friend replied "11:30?" (something like that i don't remember the specific time) "No" The zombie guy said with a sheepish grin. I looked over at my friend then all of the sudden the zombie guy started doing jumping jacks in front of me while saying "Its sexy time sexy sexy sexy time!!!!" ...and that was the scariest thing i had seen all night.

I was a bit worried about this one. Last year it was awful..but that might have been because there weren't that many guests in the park.

ack! i couldn't stand dead awakening, it was like "lets see how many sexy outfits we can fit in a show". I love my Halloween and gore...but not really sex mixed in. Really since when is sex scary? and since when is gory halloween sex sexy? (ok some people are into that but i'm not sure if that is an over whelming amount of people) Club blood, another thing that caters to men and their off desires. As a female, its starting to make me feel like Halloween is no longer something joining people together by fear,trickery and fun...its a bunch of men drooling(or disgusted) by a bunch of women dressed as street walkers. This is the only thing i didn't like about Halloween Haunt...and they are still keeping it apparently. <end rant>

eeek! Slaughter house smells? hmm Although i love gore and go crazy for a good haunt... smells make me insta-sick. I don't know why but they do.. this sucks

Interesting, I have never been to kings dominion because of the rep. I have been to Busch gardens, it is a beautiful park but because i am spoiled on KI, Busch seems to lack variety in coasters. I'm a wooden/rough coaster fan (SOB!), Busch garden rides are so smooth i barely got a thrill. Maybe i am just spoiled by my coaster capitol homeland I looked up a few things regarding Halloween Haunt in KD. Haunt doesn't seem to be as extravagant as KI's. Am i wrong about this? Since i grew up in Fairborn, Halloween is one of my priorities! especially as we creep up on the scary season.

So i recently moved from Ohio to Virginia. Although Kings Dominion is now technically closer (still pretty far), i make the voyage back to Ohio to visit friends, family and Kings Island. I was told Kings Dominion is pretty junky compared to Kings Island and not worth my time. What are the major differences in Kings Dominion and Kings Island? Which one do you prefer? ps. Sorry if there is a similar old thread somewhere, i'm new to the forums.

I like to go forward up the first lift. When i go backwards i face the ground and the restraints are a bit uncomfortable for me. I normally don't ride Invertigo though because while i'm on the ride my eyes roll back into my head and i look like i'm having a seizure! does anyone else have this trippy problem?

Getting a couple mixed answers. I hope Haunt is included with full day admission

I'm still a little lost here..sorry to bother everyone! I'm going to Halloween Haunt the weekend before Halloween (yeah i know it will be busy, but i'm bringing a few friends from out of state and it is hard to get everyone together ) If i go to KI early and they evac everyone..does this mean i will have to pay admission again to get back into the park? or will they do the stamp thing?
