  1. Seems like the KI app finally got a well needed update. The interface has been revamped and now feels way smoother than the old one. There's also now an account system, not sure what use accounts have.
  2. has anyone noticed in the renderings and videos that there is a lack of Adventure Express? they put the effort in to put in top gun, Delirium, WindSeeker, outer limits....i hope they were just being lazy...
  3. all of this was great advice. the park wasn't overly crowded that day, so the wait times were somewhat short. I was staying hydrated. Thanks everyone.
  4. The other day was my first day back to the park this year. Each time I rode a different ride, I became increasingly more nauseous. I varied where I sat. Stuck to the very front seat of Top Gun and Vortex, tried the middle of The Racer and The Beast. Attempted Delirium...and that was almost a disaster. I was drinking plenty of water and I also ate. After eating, we did the gentle rides like Boo Blasters, Eiffel Tower and Dodgems. I guess my question is...what do you do to keep that feeling from happening? I don't want to give up rides. Forgive me if this is already a subject or mentioned somewhere else.
  5. the least they could do is turn the lights on, even if it is closed. yeah...it'd be discouraging to people who want to ride it, but it's so cool looking at night.

    Ghosts

You should check out the Ghost Hunters episode they did at Kings Island. Not only are they searching for paranormal activity, but you get to go into different areas of the park. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auk103UU7K0
  7. I'm used to phantom theater/scooby doo/boo blasters not being opened for fearfest. we walked past it and wondered if it was open or not. if we knew for sure that it was open, i'm sure we would have got on it.
  8. last night we went through tombstone, cornstalkers, nightmare alley (ish), and mysteria. Generally, none of them were good. Tombstone was predictable, although the use of fog was good. Cornstalkers was too bright and too open. Nightmare alley could have been cooler, but i enjoyed the laser lights. Mysteria was really awkward and disappointing. Maybe they will get better closer to halloween?
  9. http://www.wlwt.com/...896/detail.html this was posted on channel 5's website today this means it's opening in 9 minutes! (possibly)
  10. i can only hope they all play e.t. and other flying music pieces when the ride is going, cause that's pretty sweet.
  11. yeah, the videos aren't there anymore. it's a list of the videos that say "play" and it takes you to a description of the video. it's disappointing
  12. i heard about the seat falling off also, apparently "everyone" saw it. if a dinosaur catching fire makes the news, i'm sure projectile seats would also. BUT...even if it never opens (i know it will at some point), they need to keep it up for the awesome light show it puts on. I just hope they don't get lazy and let lights go out or let it fall into disinterest...like some lights in the starlight experience, the themed room of outer limits, or the general themes of Adventure Express.
  13. so just wondering? is it definitely going in coney mall? like near psycho path? If it is, they're doing too much to one area of the park instead of fixing up other issues (Son of Beast). I'm looking forward to the brick pavement though...very classy.
  14. I think the wooded area near The Beast would be a great place to get some dark outdoor trail going. and they could call it, "The Beast" and have actors in beast costumes run around... they also could do something in the empty snoopy planet....i look over there and am already creeped out by the lack of people and light...children wandering around (adults in costumes) use boo blasters as something......unless its used for carnevil...which it could be...i dunno - just like phantom theater (i really miss that ride) i think terror-tory or whatever its called........the train should keep moving and actors should be able to jump on. yeah i know there are legal issues...but couldn't they be trained? it would be really cool what else could there be?
  15. i just came back (saturday 9/25). I only went through 5 (Slaughter House, Massacre Manor, Trail of Terror, Urgent Scare, and Cornstalkers). Here's my rating...5 the worst, 1 the best: 5: Urgent Scare - I don't want my picture taken, don't make us stand in line for it....duh 4. Cornstalkers - Too bright...i'll blame this on the wind because the fog was blowing 3. Massacre Manor - This was decent...just warm...fun times 2. Trail of Terror - I just liked being outside...i'm gonna dock points for getting wet 1. Slaughter House - the big air bags freaked me out, that can cause some mental damage it was a good time tonight, i was disappointed that there didn't seem to be many "creatures" walking around the main park, or I just didn't run into them
  16. it's a good addition...i like rides where you can just relax and look at the rest of the park. plus, since it's a new ride, it can help dilute some lines for other rides.
  17. Bring on the peanuts. Charlie Brown is my idol. I just hope they keep the avatar ride, because that's a fun ride. Put snoopy on top of it, that's cool. Scooby-Doo...well I thought Scooby-Doo was a little bright for a dark ride. Do all the rides at Cedar Point in Planet Snoopy have a snoopy theme? They could just make a Disney Haunted Mansion ride for the dark ride...generic. Either way it doesn't really matter for me, I never go into that area, except for the avatar ride. I haven't been on Scooby-Doo in ages.
