  1. Were not talkin' about the money were talking about the space. But yes, that is true, and you were "just sayin"
  2. I think people might always just assume that Cedar Point is landlocked just because it's on a peninsula. In reality, they probably still have some room to expand. And yes, they do mostly tear down rides to build better ones. And they also have some way of FINDING room. Just look at this photo...
  3. Hi spongebob! It's patrick :P

  4. It would be awesome!, for them to build an Intamin LSM coaster. Oh yes... EDIT: But this could be very expensive considering the fact that Maverick cost $21 mill'! DUBle' EDIT: A B&M Dive Machine would also be awesome.
  5. I just looked at their website and it says its under construction? I'm going this Wednesday so I just wanted to make sure. Yeah I saw that too on the website. It said it was under construction. It also said that the Jolly Mon Shores were also under construction. This could be a sign that they're renovating it. They've already given The Cliff and Riptide a paint job. They might be fixing up the whole park.
  6. My favorite is Aztec Adventure but I also love Twilight Zoom how they have little starlight holes in side the slide. I like Watusi a lot to. You can go pretty fast on that slide.
  7. So true, In 20 years from now there could be a 2010 map stuck on the roof. And people will say,"Look, a park map from 20 years ago!"
  8. I can't stand punk teenagers like this. To seriously vandalize someone else's property and to think it's funny? I really hate seeing this kind of conduct in my generation since I am a teenager. Not only did he vandalize, imagine all of the people waiting in line to ride for a long time and then finding out they can't ride since someone damaged the ride. Let alone all the people who have been dying to ride the ride and visit the park the next morning and finding out they can't ride because someone damaged the ride. MY genaration, sigh...
  9. Talking about a waste of money. As I mentioned the "phiten" before that everybody has at my school. One time when I went to dick's I saw those and they cost around $25-$35 dollars for a little necklace that just pretty much is a ring of some sort of elastic or something. BIG waste of money...
  10. Ugh... I absolutely HATE annoying teen fads that everybody kid I see has them. And this is coming from a teenager. For example, the "phiten" which all the "popular" kids at my school have although all the "popular" kids are just a bunch of posers who think they're cool. Although I'm not in the "popular" group I'm not in the "unpopular" group either. I'm sort of in the middle. And I'm proud to have my own group of friends that stand out from everybody else and doesn't follow the "popular" crowd. Taking the road not taken...
  11. Careful your breaking the rule. Don't talk smack about Flight Deck lol. ITs everyone's favorite lamer-coaster so you'll get people riled up. Oh and on that note I rode Iron Dragon at Cedar Point so I can OFFICIALLY say the Suspended coaster sucks now that I've rode 2! LOL I personally don't care. But I do see Son of Beast being the next demolished coaster no doubt about it. I was thinking obviously a B&M invert wouldn't take up the space that Son of Beast does so they could use a lot of that space to expand X-base, and ultimatley make X-base the home of the new B&M invert. Also a screaming Swing would be a nice edition too. Of course at this point I'd think we'd see some track showing up or something if we were getting anything for '11, so Its safe to say the next edition will not arrive till at least 2012. Well if no track has shown up by now that doesn't necessarily mean we won't get a new "addition," just not a new coaster. We could possibly get a screamin swing in the X-Base by next year. A flat ride takes a lot less time to install than a coaster.
  12. This is just me but I would I would much rather have them build an Intamin at KI. An Intamin is KI needs a lot. Not that I would hate to see a B&M invert be installed, I'd just rather have them build an LSM Intamin of some sort. Just my opinion...
  13. Yesterday I rode seat 5-1 on Vortex supposeably the "magic seat" for the first time and it was great. I got tons of airtime on the first drop. And by the "first drop," I don't mean the little drop at the end of the chain lift before the big drop. lol
  14. Snowy River Rampage is the best because it is really long. But last time I didn't get to ride it. Here's the story, I told my friends that I was gonna go to the bathroom. They said "okay." I told them that they can go ride SRR once without me while I was at the bathroom. Then they went to the slide and rode SRR once. Then when I meet them at the exit they say "We got kicked of the ride so were not allowed to ride anymore." and they were laughing about. I say, "What did you guys do to get kicked off?" They keep on laughing,"O we were jumping up and down on the raft." So since my 3 friends can't ride it means that I can't ride because you need at least 3 people to ride since it's a big raft. My friends are really stupid...
  15. Heres's my list of BB waterslides in order from how much I like each sllide: Snowy River Rampage Tazmanian Typhoon Awesome Aussie Twister Down Under Thunder Bondi Pipeline Sydney Sidewinder Note: I've never ridden Coolangatta Racer but I'm gonna try to next time I visit BB.
  16. ^Ya I hope they fix it soon. It would be horrible for Delirium not to be running at all during Haunt this year.
  17. Waterslides!!! EDIT: Don't forget to vote in my other waterslide poll of The Beach WaterPark slides titled "What's your favorite Beach WaterPark waterslide?"
  18. Oh I forgot, on Firehawk they tell you which row to sit in, but there's really NO DIFFERENCE WHATSOEVER where you sit on that ride.
  19. Only on Diamondback and Back Lot Stunt Coaster they tell you where to sit. But on Diamondback, you can ask to wait in line for the front seat and they usually let you do so. But you have to wait 3 or 4 trains for the line in the front. And if you ask to go to very back seat, occasionally they let you go to the back seat.
  20. I haven't made a poll in a while so I decided to come up with this one...
  21. Did you even read what I wrote, I have been going to KI since it opened It's first year. Ok I give you that, I was excited to go that one time on the first opening day in their history but have not been excited since then. We do visit a couple of times a year though, with Platinum passes we visit just because we are in the area. What do you mean In The Long Run. Sorry, what I meant is if you HAVE NEVER gone to KI, and you have been going to since '74 according to your signature I know that. But, if you HAVE NEVER gone to KI but you've been going to CP for a long time you would be excited to go to KI for once since it is different. And look, I am very bad at "wording" my posts and I'm doing my best to make them more understandable. I don't know what I meant "in the long run",again I'm trying my best to "word" my posts better
  22. I was at the park from around 7:30 to closing time today and it still wasn't running. I hope this "temporary technical difficulty" really is "temporary."
  23. And the Prowler cost even less than Wicked Twister Just goes to show that rides aren't rated on how much they cost. It goes on how good the ride is. SOB cost 20 million big ones and look how that turned out. Prowler only cost 8 million dollars. Also, there's a nine year gap between the debut of these coasters.
  24. Well if you've never gone to KI after going to CP for over 40 years I'm sure you would have been excited to go to KI once since it's different from CP. Otherwise you have a good point about "in the long-run" CP will definitely be more exciting. EDIT: Getting back on topic here, My favorite CP coaster is Maverick. Here's my top ten in a list... Maverick Top Thrill Dragster Millenium Force Wicked Twister Raptor Magnum XL-200 Mantis Mean Streak
