  1. Finally saw this today and it was very silly. He isn't a very good actor either, lol. The big swing he rode on seems very fun though. Seeing the show though I really wish I could ride Delirium cause it looks fun as well. Sadly if I was to do it my park trip would be over. Spinning just kills me, sucks cause I miss out on some fun rides.
  2. I agree, the ride is fun, but way too short anyways.
  3. Must be broken, cause it wasn't working last time I was there (June14th) but was the time before (June 3rd). Shame, because it was the coolest part of the ride. We bought 3 pair of the glasses and kept them to use on future rides. The response about them "not melting" made me laugh til I was in tears, thanks for that
  4. Funny to see so many people unaware of the smoking area near Planet Snoopy. It is the first one my wife found, lol.
  5. Look like sewer line vents to me, lol.
  6. Gold. First time having a pass.
  7. I hear HW commercials on the radio from time to time here in Etown. There are HW Billboards around, 1 or 2 along 31W between Elizabethtown and Louisville. Last I knew there is a Diamondback Billboard along I65 in Louisville.
  8. The show is on tonight at 10:30, gotta check it out cause I wanna got to CP soooo bad. Is it just me or would rides like TTD be even more awesome with a loop at the bottom? At 10 he is in Vegas doing those insane rides on top of buildings
  9. While it may not be what goes on every single night or moment, the experience we had at the State Fair last year sums up my response. A couple fights broke out, one invited a couple of us to join, but we declined. It got even better watching the Police and security chase a man through the midway that snagged a woman's purse. Several people that were walking about just had that look of "bring it" to them. Not quite what I wanted my young children and my brothers pregnant fiance around. The one posting about fighting pretty much backs up my statement. As for the teens comment, not ONCE did I mention teens or not wanting to see them. I'm 35 and don't really pay teens much mind as I remember how it was at that age and most of them are good kids in my experience. As for seeing them in parks, more often than not it is great. Was there (Kings Island) in early June and was on Congo Falls with a group on a senior trip. They were freaking hilarious and made the ride all the more enjoyable. So to sum it up, our trip to the fair was the pits due to wanna be "thugs" that cannot function in society with out causing trouble. None of the "thugs" were teens and that is what is truly sad, cause adults should more than know better. While the fair may not have anything to with KK, the same people live in Louisville and go to both I assume. Does that really reflect on the Fair or KK as whole? Of course not, so sorry for the blanket statement, but I personally will not go back. To the fair anyways.
  10. You can't even walk the midway during the State Fair without fear of being "jumped" I can just imagine how dreadful it was inside the actual park itself The thug wannabe's have ruined most everything in Louisville lately.
  11. I had no clue it even existed til I visited the park last August. It was my first trip to Kings Island since 1987 and we went to the kid area and the water park. After exiting the train from the water park we of course walked past it and watched a few trains drop down. Me and the wifes cousin said what the heck and got in line. It was my first Coaster ride since Thunder Run in 1990 and I loved every second of it. It made me realize just what I had been missing out on for close to 20 years. I lived near Kings Dominion/Williamsburg for 4 years (mid 90's) and never once visited either park. Thank You Diamond Back for waking me up
  12. Just call them. My wife did the same thing and they just sent her new emails after she talked with them to verify things.
  13. It is VERY awesome. The looks on his face while riding Beast are priceless Gonna get a ride pic when we go back in a couple weeks and will show it off
  14. He was able to get a 48" wrist band and was thrilled to ride The Beast. He really lit up on The Racer, when he turned to me at the end and said "I thought I was gonna fly out" it brought a tear to my eye. He made me very proud that day. On a side note---The handout at the park says he cannot ride The Vortex, yet everything I see online says it is 48" as well? He wants to ride it so bad.
  15. I edited after posting and realizing 02 was when they removed it
  16. Before riding DB last year I had not been to the park since Vortex was brand new so I can't comment on Paramount. The park looks great this year and has been very clean the 3 times we have been so far this year. The Action Zone does need some major attention though. As for the Kid Zone, my kids go for the rides and love them regardless of what Character is walking around. I prefer Snoopy to most any of the crap they put on Nickelodeon these days anyhow. Both of them (6 and 7) were THRILLED to walk in and see Snoopy on our first trip this year. The 6 year old could really care less about anything that isn't a Coaster, lol.
  17. FoF opened in 96 and Cobra stopped in 01. http://www.rcdb.com/4540.htm
  18. I love when people are scared and won't get on a ride while my 6 year old son is crying because he CAN'T ride it, lol. He rode The Beast and some others with me and is now hooked on coaster riding.
  19. There is one for the Stunt Coaster as well. "Count the number of Street Signs you pass while on the ride"
  20. Rode the Wabash Cannonball and Delta Demon at Opryland in 1985.
