  1. Well Diamondback starts with a "D", and Vortex starts with a "V". So alphabetically..... I'm going with Diamondback. My 46 year old neck agrees!
  2. Eyeballs may not cause fear, but from the looks of some of them, they seem to make great punching bags!
  3. Did you get the memo? i believe you have my stapler... Sounds like somebody's got a case of the Mondays.
  4. I'd like to say, "You Suck!" but that's just fantastic. 17minutes for us.
  5. I saw him Saturday. I think his shirt read 8200.
  6. Toss up for me. Freak Street is great for the carnival atmosphere and all the Scareactors. The fog and lasers are also a really cool effect. (if they only had a shark!) Grimm Blvd with it's steam punk vibe is also very cool. DON"T miss the drummers under the water tower. It's a fantastic show.
  7. Geez... He should wear a t-shirt like Gary Coleman's.
  8. Fast Lane passes made Saturday a very memorable day for snow-woman and I. We went to honor the life of my 96 year old Grandmother who passed away last week. I'm not trying to restart any arguments. I just think for people who want to celebrate a special day, or fit as much in as possible because they can't come to the park very often, Fast Lane makes a world of difference. We used them from open to close, 15 hours we will never forget.
  9. Snow-woman and I decided to honor the life of my Grandmother who passed away last week at 96. We went Saturday morning 10am, used funperks 50% fast pass discount, marathoned DB, rode many rides for many hours. We ate, checked out SC, which the kids seem to love. 6pm rolled around and the wave of crowds rolled in. Lines became insanely long and just kept getting worse as the night went on. Our magical wristbands seemed to upset others while making us happy. The full moon gave us warm thoughts of Grandmother. 12:30 we were in line for the front seat of Beast and the ride op said, "The park is closing in 30 minutes". We rode a magical night ride through the woods, staggered to our car, and realized we had just spent 15 hours by-passing the largest crowds we'd ever seen at KI. Very memorable day we'll never forget. For some reason, yesterday we were exhausted.
  10. ^ I don't think visit numbers matter as much as how much you spend. We have been over 35 times by Saturday, and only leveled up over that 18.8% after spending $50. The site read that I was 81.2% toward level 4, or 18.8% away from level 4.
  11. Just so everyone knows: Brilliant!
  12. Saturday I was 81.2% from level 4. Spent $50 bucks and got a print out saying I'd reached level four. Not sure how far over that put me, but at least we can guess: $50 > 20%.
  13. I wouldn't offer any spoilers on opening night regarding Cavern of Terror. If anyone searches last years topics, the Boo Blasters spoiler has been discussed. Also, I think you've confused me with someone who actually knows where the "spoiler" function/button is.
  14. There's a guy dressed in a leaf suit somewhere in the park that is going to scare the crap out of you. I hope I didn't spoil anything; also, it gets foggy.
  15. No offense intended, but I started this topic for us to discuss what we thought of Haunt and give details to people who can't go. Since we're not professional writers, there's going to be some spoilers. I would suggest if you haven't gone to Haunt yet, are concerned some spoilers will ruin an incredible experience, and intend to go, "Don't Read This Topic"
  16. I was standing at the park yesterday thinking, "I bet the lighter trains can make that jump!". Wouldn't it be a great publicity stunt to send a train filled with water dummies down the first hill and just see how far it would go?
  17. It was me!...in my mind anyway. I remember getting out and thinking: "Dang, that was rough"
  18. The food looks great! It's funny that when Don posts, he's listed as a "Tourist". Is there any chance we can bump the big man up to an "Expert" status? I think he deserves it.
  19. No since they do the wall-o-monsters. ERT is only on Sat and Sun(except this Sunday).
  20. If you have a WindSeeker cup you should hang on to it 'cause it may become a collectors item soon.
  21. While the pics are interesting, I really don't feel right about "liking" photos of a coaster being torn down while not having any announcement of what, if anything, is taking its place. Not having anything concrete to look forward to makes the shock of watching it come down harder. Oh well, the only constant is change huh?
  22. ^ The hangman gallows in front of BLSC was kinda gruesome for a little tyke on a Sunday afternoon.
