Markr nailed it. Not busy, most rides were a short wait or walk on. 6 coneys, and 4 slices. Now I am an extra large Snowman! I saw the Don getting 2 coneys himself. It was a deal too good to pass up. Great deals on tee and sweat shirts to. Great weekend, memorable time. Time for the Great Pumpkin!

Read about Keith's passing yesterday. I only knew him through his posts, smiles, and waves during ERT. Heartbreaking loss of someone I never met but got to know through funny and deep thoughts and well placed words. Yesterday's rain just made Stevie Ray's song "The Sky Is Crying" more powerful thinking about his family's loss. I hope his kids keep a warm spot in their hearts for KI and remember their good times with Dad. Good Journey Keith.

Wow, Full Throttle looks amazing! Will all the parks will be open during Christmas? Quite a line up for 2013.

I would have to say that in some point in the future KI will break some kind of record. What kind of record is anyone's guess. Most simultaneous farts in a ride line? Most pieces of gum left on a hand rail? Most times a ride op says that you enjoying a ride was "awesome" in one day? This could be a long list.

I worked with him on "People vs Larry Flynt". He's a really good guy and fun to be around. He is really into yoga and would randomly show up to yoga studios in Memphis to teach a class. Imagine that surprise. He was not much into talking about his past, including taking praise for his work on Cheers so taking praise for working at KI is probably not on "high" his list. I'm just guessing, I don't have an actual source for this information except my own interactions with him in the 90's. I wonder how this post relates to the TOS?

Anymore videos or suggestions of how to win any KI carnival games? My dollars and I would appreciate them.

Very glad to hear ERT will return. Also, I spent enough to get 3 stars in FUN Perks, so glad it's returning to. Thank you for the update.

Odd KI quietly announces a 10 dollar price increase (fall price last year was $69.99) for gold passes with no list of 2013 pass benefits. Will there be ERT? If so what rides? No new rides announced, just the permanent loss of Crypt and SOB. I'm not starting a Raptoresque meltdown, it just seems unless hot dogs and pizzas are going to be 1 dollar all next season, there's really not a whole lot to be excited about for 2013. (Yet?) I'll renew and hope for the best.

In case they don't like riding alone: After going down the lift hill, we lean to the right an yell "Wheee". Then we go over a hill and go "AAHHHH". Then we lean to the left and go "WHOOO".....and so on.

Wednesday afternoon DB went down and we were waiting in line outside the gate. A guy in front of us turned around and said: " I wait until the end of the year to come here and they shut DB down. It figures they would do that to me." We walked away from this very toxic person. A note to all the young people reading these forums, the sooner you learn this life lesson the smoother your journey will be: The natural, mechanical world and everyone else is not personally plotting against you, roller-coasters and the people who work at them frankly don't care if you personally get to ride or not. Notice the date of my post. This is a perk program, not a promised benefit when you buy a pass. Things change, prices for FL have changed. I haven't got an instant reward since that day. So what, it's still more than I expected. We didn't have Fun Perks at all last year. You got half off a FL pass, there wasn't even FL last year. The only constant is change.

I've asked and yes the fun perks can be used during haunt. Stated by a guest relations supervisor. Not the Dippin' Dots Dude.

I think we should get the worlds tallest wooden coaster, and give it a name that relates it to The Beast. Heck, why not throw in a loop?.....too soon?

Regarding the posts that there is nothing good to eat under $8, if you stand outside Hanks burrito shack and look to the left, under the big Coke sign, you can get plenty of fresh fruit and veggies. Some for a dollar.

Thank you Dill for risking your reputation and internship to reveal to us that KI plans future area expansion. I had it on good authority that KI was planning future park reduction. I was told that they were planning on removing SOB, Flight Deck, FOF, Firehawk, DA, and Action Theater to plant trees and weeds so the area will go back to the natural woodsy place it once was. I guess my source was too verbose and uninformed.

Trust me, sometimes it's better to go temporarily off-topic and let us rant versus starting 40 new topics a day. Also there aren't any SOB Demolition pics yet, so how can we get off-topic. Yeah, notice this year you don't see the Komen name ANYWHERE around the whole pink snoopy promotion. If they're going to support an intolerant organization they should at least own it and advertise where the money is going. I had to ask a worker if the money is going to Komen's foundation, he said yes, would you like to buy a chance? I said, "no, I'll donate my money directly to Planned Parenthood." The poor guy had no idea why I said that.
