  1. during my visit to KI 10/8/10 my fiance and I ate in Festhaus, I had a Bacon Cheeseburger (half a strip of bacon mind you), fries, and a drink, my fiance had a grilled chicken sandwich, fries, and a drink our total came to $38.00 i was very shocked, the food wasn't very good either.

  2. this was on 10/8/10..waiting in line to get in the park you could see they were doing some test runs on Invertigo..this guy in front my fiance and myself said "i heard that someone jumped off Invertigo in the loop and landed all the way over here at the gates"

  3. all the worry and complaining was for nothing.

You know, it really bothers me, the people who are saying this. There could have been problems. There still might be problems. Had Cedar Fair not handled this event so well, problems of some sort would have been inevitable. For nothing, indeed?

lol seriously i bet if this was anything but wrestling this whole thing wouldn't be an issue..i got a great idea..KI should bring Miley Cyrus next year for HH..no..wait can't do that..she's gone all whore..might bring in the wrong crowd *sarcasm*...LET....IT....GO.

  4. this whole thread is a bit silly..i'm very religious (a strict Roman Catholic)..and i dont see a single thing wrong with Halloween Haunt..i just think maybe Raptorguy was being a troll. i had a great time at HH, and will probably go again next year..some people who have a problem with HH just need to realize its a show..nothing more, nothing less..

  5. Day started leaving from Ashton West Virginia (outside Huntington), drove to Mason Ohio with no problems made great time. My fiance and I got to the hotel and checked in. At around 5:30pm we went to to line up at Kings Island. There was already a nice little crowd gathered. Seen some fellow West Virginians and spoke to a A.C.E member. I was very impressed with how KI opened the gates, a large number of scare-actors came running from the gates toward the crowd it was amazing, the chainsaw guys were awesome. after getting our tickets scanned our first activity was Adventure Express, we got ride it right up front, I know some people make fun of AE but I LOVE it. After that i attempted to ride Flight of Fear, Racers and Diamondback, but unfortunantly i could not get the restraints to fit. That is really embarassing but i dont blame KI for it, its my own fault. my Fiance and I rode, Adventure Express x2, Flight Deck, The Scrambler x2, Vortex, and The Beast. If you haven't rode The Beast at night i highly suggest it and the nice little suprise is a good addition. If anyone was there on the 8th do you know why The Crypt wasn't operation and what happened to The Beast at the end of the evening. I give KI a A+ on fog, at times it was a little too much, I didn't see many roamers out though. The Haunts we got to go through was Massacre Manor and Urgent Scare in my opinion they did a great job, we got in line for CarnEVIL but ended up leaving to go get on The Beast. I do want to add we went to Festhaus for dinner and while we were there we saw the Half-Pint Brawlers, i thought it was highly entertaining, they did the best they could and the crowd was FAR from rowdy and seemed to be really into it, you could tell the wrestlers were really tired. all-in-all it was a great day at Kings Island, didn't last long enough. can't wait for next year.

  6. I recieved this email from someone involved in planning Wild Escape after i sent an email asking about the park.

    Dear Josh,

The entertainment campus is in final design. As soon as that is approved, construction will be underway.

Thank you for your interest in Wild Escape.

    Regards,

    Steve Minard

hopefully this is a good thing.

  7. I had to make a trip report for this because it was my first time at Halloween Haunt and my first time at a haunted maze thing. We got there at 5 (with my friend) and our plan was to ride rides. Hour and a half wait for Diamondback...and pretty much every ride in the park. So we went to Slaughterhouse which was a 20 minute wait.

This was my first haunted maze ever. As I walked in I freaked out. The lady had blood all over her saying "Do not touch anybody in the maze or you might end up in my fridge as some nice meat". Whoa ;)

I was basically fast walking the whole time, checking every corner before I went around it. I counted how many times I screamed, and it was about twelve times. The ending with the black tarp thing was weird, not sure how to explain it. It was really fun though. Only problem was it wasn't dark out and it had opened at 6 instead of 7. So you could see everything that was going on.

After that half the time we just walked around and were chased by roamers with chainsaws. The fog was awesome, and the theme was great. I'm surprised at your guy's reviews. I thought it was very good and the scareactors were great.

At about 10 we went into Massacre Manor. WHOA! That scared the crap out of me. The ending was really fun, but the strobe lights annoyed me. No spoilers. :)

    Halloween Haunt is awesome! :)

thanks for the report..i'm going Oct 8th...can't wait!!

  8. We were at the 10:30 show Friday. It lasted 45 minutes, with about twenty minutes of a midget doing lame stand up comedy, ten minutes of break time/ introductions, and about 10 or 15 minutes of "wrestling." There was no blood and I, in all honesty, found it to be very overhyped and not worth the time that could be spent riding roller coasters.

I kinda figured that's how it'd be..Honestly do you think they could do the hardcore blood thing 4 or 5 times a day every weekend? Then again..its what they are paid to do..

  9. i used to have a horrible fear of roller coasters...reason being i'm a big guy 6'1" 320lbs..i was always afraid my restraints would snap lol..but after riding for awhile i began to realize..the restraints fit just fine and if i was too big they wouldn't let me ride..and the fear went away.

  10. As to doubting that the park will reopen, how's Americana doing these days? Six Flags New Orleans? That new park in West Virginia that was supposed to open just a year or so ago? Wild West World? Ghost Town In The Sky? Hard Rock Park? Free Style Music Park?

Hmmm..i'm from WV and i never heard that WV was supposed to open a new park..do you have any details?
