  1. Hm. Must be a combination of the Pipeline Plunge and the Bobs, then...
  2. Will it be a combination of the Dodgems and the Flying Bobs? (Or, if you're being formal, the Flying Roberts.)
  3. The main reason why KI would NOT rename FC as "The Bat" might be because of the stigma that the name carries. The Bat was notorious for being closed far more often than it was open. Other than for "heritage" purposes, what motivation would they have to call it that with such a connotation?
  4. With his friends Feddy, Dapne, Elma, and Saggy? (Seriously, though, I hadn't noticed that before. You'd think that when you have a friend who is a WE ride op and knows you're obsessed with KI history, she'd tell you these things...)
  5. The original Jungle Jim's is in Fairfield, and the other is in Eastgate...neither of which are really Cincinnati proper. Just saying...
  6. Is there anything in the TOS that addresses excessive punctuation? Not as far as I know, but also, to my knowledge, it does not prohibit such grammatical atrocities such as, for instance, excessive use of clauses, which, of course, should be divided, individually of course, by commas, but preferably, these would be separated by, say, semicolons, or even separate sentences, instead of commas.
  7. The chili. Ours is completely different from the chili anywhere else - and there's so many variations of it, you can have Cincinnati-style chili anywhere from Newport to Price Hill to Anderson. Also the Reds.
  8. http://mcnicholasmilestone.com/2013/10/15/juniors-lurk-in-shadows-at-fearfest/ According to the newspaper of my alma mater, it's still called FearFest. Phooey to you, high school journalism.
  9. I hear they'll be harkening back to KI's "old days", and slowing down Flight Deck drastically and renaming it "Lion Country Safari Coaster".
  10. Would there be any feasible way to incorporate go-karts into the park WITHOUT an additional entry fee?
  11. Oh yes, I forgot about the King Cobra entrance. IIRC, that was eradicated along with Thunder Alley.
  12. They could always convert Kenton Cove Keelboat Canal that shoot-the-chutes ride into a karting track. Of course they'd have to remove the water first. Still, it'd be fun. And maybe they'd actually fill up that queue for once...
  13. The original Dodgems from the 1920s aren't used, though...I'd guess Tumble Bug as well.
  14. if you were facing the laser game in Coney Mall (Maul right now.) Cuddle up was where the Attitude shop is and the Dogems was where the squirt game/DED Haunt are now. It was a frugal thing to do, to reuse the structure. The space for the Dodgems must have been a fraction of the size that it is now, then.
  15. Interesting. So when they moved the Dodgems to the current location, they basically stuck some walls on it and turned it into a shop? That's certainly one approach to doing things...
  16. Apparently one of the gift shops in Snoopy World or whatever it's called was a Skyride station. (I see someone already mentioned this.) There was also a footer for the Skyride in the lake when that restaurant in Oktoberfest was still Bubba Gump's, but I believe it's gone now. (Darn it, Skippy beat me to this one too!) As of mid-September, the footers for King Cobra which used to be viewable from Days of Thunder's queue are still there, viewable from Adventure Express's queue. In addition, the part of the pavement that led down to DoT now leads into Banshee's construction area. The old go-karts can be seen while on The Racer. As of a couple years ago, the former parking shuttles could still be seen out by SoB. Anyone know if they are still there? Here is a more complete Bat footing.
  17. Eleven years. It's been almost eleven years since the last post in this thread.
  18. Fixed it for you… Save money on lives? That's plain unethical.
