  1. you have Crypt wrong in your signature That is a matter of opinion...lol.
  2. Delirium, Thunder Alley, and that hulk that shall remain nameless behind it. Would free up room, and, give better access to Flight Deck. Delirium is always busted, Thunder Alley is deserted, and SOBNO.
  3. Looks like a similar "up yours, Huss" type of sign that Dollywood had up last year.

  5. I know Rocky Mountain did some topper tracking to the ride a few years ago. There was also talk of them completely re-doing the ride, but nothing confirmed that I know of. Perhaps this is the beginning of doing just that, we shall see. Edit - By the accounts that I have read online in the last 15 minutes, all signs point to the ride being shut down in order for Rocky Mountain construction renovate the ride. If another ride with a terrible reputation, with lawsuits galore is being taken on by this group, holds out a bit of hope for a certain woody.
  6. In regards to Timberwolf, what besides Jeebusfest is there during the year? I know that Hannity has had some of his little blowouts there, but have any real bands played there in the last 5 or 6 years? I know that it was a good outdoor venue in 1982, but is useless by 2012 standards. Time has passed that place by, and a ton of empty land in the Action Zone sitting unused 99% of the time.
  7. You do it the hillbilly way, and leave the junk car parked in the side yard for 3 years for everyone to see.
  8. Took some time on Sunday morning to do what we hadn't done this season yet, and that was to purposely ride the three saddest coasters in the park. 1) The Racer. What KI has let happen to this ride is nearly criminal. No upkeep to speak of, weeds growing out of every nook and cranny, in desperate need of a paint job and a good general cleaning. I had hoped for the 40th anniversary of the old girl, that she would get the attention she needed. Not so. Quite the opposite, I feel. Almost feels to me that they are letting her die a slow death, almost makes me feel that something is going to happen in her footprint. The ride is still good, why no love from the powers that be? 2) Adventure Express Again, a decent family coaster that, with proper theming, would be a fun little ride. However, at 10:30 am on a Sunday, just a herky jerky typical Arrow ride. While maintenance has patched up the final lifthill as best they can, is still just a ride more for taking a peek at SOB than anything remotely enjoyable. Certainly nothing worth more than a 2 minute wait to ride, if that. 3) Flight Deck In the front row, is a FANTASTIC ride! However, KI screwed the pooch in making the walk back longer than the ride itself. The Ops yesterday were moving in super slow motion, making a walk on ride a wait. Just amazing. I guess that the big question is, does it stay, or go? Would be a shame to lose the best 1:52 ride in the park due to the poor placement of the ride back in the '80s. I include this in the sad coaster part because it seemingly gets no love either, not for the poor ride/theming, but because of the lack of anything around it to draw riders. Will the park continue to maintain that ride, secure parts, etc, for such a low number of riders? Seems to me that the powers that be are dropping the ball in regards to these coasters. Perhaps they have their reasons...
  9. There are 25,437 people who made the "last day" of riding the SOB now that it is 2012. I'm sorry, I don't understand what you are saying... The number of people who were at certain "events" multiplies many times over the actual folks who were there for said event as time goes on. Thus the silly numbers for folks attending Riverfront Stadium events (held approx 52,000 people). The "problem" in 2009 had nothing to do with the failure in 2006, but that is beside the point.
  10. There are 25,437 people who made the "last day" of riding the SOB now that it is 2012. Similarly, in Cincinnati, there are now 242,871 people who were at the Freezer Bowl, 142,905 people who were at Tom Brownings perfect game, 345,823 folks were were at Riverfront for hit #4192, and so on.
  11. Odd. It was the ERT ride on the morning of the 4th instead of Invertigo. Worked perfectly.

  13. I can't get the site to let me in to mine either...probably a problem on their end.
  14. The obvious answer is...leave the original beginnig and lift hill, tear down the rest, and put in Mr. Bonestripper.
  15. At least they saved on the credit card bill by shopping at Wally World. No high falutin' stores for those thieves.
  16. http://masonbuzz.com...dit-card-theft/ Either leave your valuables in your car, rent a locker, or expect the worst. All three of them look like fine, upstanding citizens.
  17. Perhaps he got his info from this guy.
  18. Vinnie Testacles played for the Jets, not the Giants. Got a problem with the Jets? or Vinnie?..... Vinnie Interceptaverde?
  19. I, for one, would never spend my hard earned money on something like the Fast Lane. I simply choose to go on days where the park is not crowded. It just seems that the park needs to find a much more equitable way to integrate the Fast Lane users into the que without causing undue backups for the peasants who either can't, or won't, spend the money to cut the line. Universal has it dead right, as when I went there, I didn't even notice their upper crust riders causing longer wait times, as they integrated them into the line at a far earlier time.
  20. I always had to eat the welfare burger, with green peppers hanging out of it and the Wonder bread turned pink, and get laughed at by the neighborhood kids with McDonalds. What you need eggs for? I want a hamburger.
