I hope to get my 50+ rides on DB, try to conquer my fear of heights by taming WindSeeker (I know, I know...but it IS a thrill ride for those of us that the sheer height gives the willies). Also looking forward to the water park improvements. Hoping to be able to keep my "water shoes" in the car this year.

Remember that The Beast is no longer included in ERT. Correct, but at 10am on Weds May 16th, I would imagine that The Beast queue will be empty.

The first drop of the year on DB. Though, having your first ride of the year with my daughter in the front row of The Beast with the whole coaster to yourselves is a close second...see if that can happen again this year.

To do then now would be retro. To do then then was very now-tro.

After riding B&M's contributions to Universal Islands of Adventure, something along those lines would sure look better than the wooden "Hulk" we see now...

Could see the writing on the wall for the past few years. Went in 2009, and 2010, and the place had deteriorated drastically in that one year span. Poorly maintained, nothing new to rave about = failure. Plain and simple.

I've always been amazed at how a flip flop can manage to make it thru the entire ride, only to escape at the end turn.

Was that Fletch coming in for the arm bite...errr...assist?

Rode it in the old cars...with my brother who is 6'4". I am 6'6". We comically fit. Painful. Brutal. Rode it again with the loop gone with the "new" cars. Slightly better, a bit less brain scrambling. That said, I would definately ride it again if redone.

Seems to be accurate that there will be additional ERT rides than DB/Beast.

Good! An hour during the week is very nice! I will certainly take advantage...will be nice to ride (hopefully) more rides without waiting with the unwashed masses, as it would seem that they may offer more than Beast/DB.

I would never, ever, ever buy the Fast Lane pass. That said, as a season pass holder, I go when I know the park will not be crowded. You will not find me there on a summer Saturday, when lines might be an hour or more wait. If I go on the weekend, I go early Sunday, leave at 1pm or so when things start to fill up. If you don't like to wait in line, which is something I despise, plan your trip accordingly. Or, spend the $$, buy the pass. To each their own. I do find it funny, though, the folks who waste $50 on a Fast Lane pass on a Tuesday or Wednesday in the middle of summer, when you'll wait 15-20 minutes at most on the good rides.

The best thing that I feel they can do, within reason and budget, is to restore The Racer to her former glory, as she was the flagship of the park 40 years ago. The old girl looks tattered and forlorn.

It's going to be the new WindSeeker Jr.

Indeed, the Rock N Roller coaster is a must ride. Much different than Flight of Fear.

I'll second that. There pics are great. I just wonder what we're gonna do when you run out. I had no idea that that building had been re-purposed.

The less filling, tastes great harkens back to the 80's, when that always happened on the ship.

The tunnels are, to quote Sir Charles Barkley, turrible. I do not know what the thinking was behind that. One can hope that a fresh coat of red, white, and blue paint this offseason will freshen the old girl up. Removing the silly tunnels is probably too much to ask.

Ahh, the days when a teenage star could smoke by the pool, and not have it wind up on TMZ.

Personally, I would play Free Bird on every single ride at every single park in the country...just to hear peoples reaction, as when that first guitar notes hit, people inevitably holler "Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo" in their best hillbilly voice.

Needing to get milk after work is a dead giveaway...SOB is being retracked for 2013!!! Yay!!!
