    Best seats?

Front row, and, back row. Two vastly different riding experiences, both phenominal in their own way. Give both a shot, see what you prefer.
  2. 60 minutes for Banshee, once, second Saturday this spring. That is my limit for rides, period...even a new one. Life is too short to be wasted standing in a cattle call line...even for the free t-shirt. I've not waited more than 30 minutes, many times not more than 15, since that first ride. Especially for rides I've ridden many, many times, why wait? Banshee has now crossed into the territory with the other rides at my home park. If a line is longer than 30 minutes, forget it. To combat that, though, you won't see me at the park on a Saturday during the summer, or on a Sunday after 1pm.
  3. Finally rode 1-1 yesterday, as well as 8-1 for the umpteenth time, and, 8-4 again. 1-1 takes the cake for me. Two completely different experiences from the front to the back, but the front row is where it is at for me, with 8-1 a close second.
  4. It is about "customer relations". The young man that have me my BCS at 9:15 this morning was somewhat less than cordial about it. Seeing that, I did not do or say what was ion my mind, not wanting to get beaten. That is how it felt, very in your face. Not cool at all. When this becomes accepted in the US, to me, it speaks volumes of how far we have fallen. Made me mad, made me sad.
  5. But...why here, today? The whole thing looked bad, like a prison. Bad JuJu.Was a bit upsetting, to be frank.
  6. ERT for Banshee is a dud too...not up yet. Superb. Bennett, frustrated.
  7. The full BCS at the front gate this morning is a nice touch...why?
  8. If I'm not mistaken, and correct me if I am, 41 was the number for the ride on the internal KI phone system.
  9. Make absolutely sure, if you are driving, to get with your insurance company and get the yellow insurance card. http://insuranceincanada.com/auto-insurance/canadian-insurance-card
  10. Two great rides...Ripsaw Falls is one of my favorite rides, period.
  11. I am so relieved to be hearing so many people say that airtime has not been affected. I love Diamondback and love the massive amounts of airtime. I simply don't think Diamondback would be so great like it is without the airtime. Let me ask this: if the airtime is not ejector air (which feels like to me), then why are seat belts necessary? Even if the lap bar comes up I find it hard to believe a person could fall out of their seat in any of the turns/helices. I find it so odd that after 5 years of operation seat belts are installed. I would simply chalk it up to a CYA move by those who are in charge. Better to be over the top safe now than have to shut the ride down during the summer season for two/three days, and, have to publicise WHY it is shut down. This way, it is done, quietly, and the general public has no idea it even happened.
  12. It won't...just a redundancy to keep the main support in place. There is no possible way for it to come unlatched now. Does not affect how it latches in any way.
  13. The old stars are still on the back side of the concrete bridge. Tacky.
  14. Search was not my friend....Diamondback now has seat belts as of today.
  15. Buying one is certainly more foolish...getting multiple with the intention of selling it is just greed, plain and simple. A bit off topic from selling the shirts, but goes back to doing the right thing, which, as I get older, people in this country seem to do less and less... http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/mlb-big-league-stew/fan-who-caught-pujols-500th-home-run-wants-nothing-in-return-023226058.html

  17. In fairness, the amount of work done this off-season has really been remarkable. Not only a brand new, world class coaster, but a TON of new pavement, from the front entrance to Action Zone, a new shade area/dining area in Action Zone, a new restaurant, two new patio areas behind Festhaus, removal of most of the Snoopy Spectacular (which never was), a heavily updated front gate, FunTV thru the whole park, and, I'm sure that I am missing things... Seems to me that more work was done this off-season than any that I can remember in the past 20 years. Hopefully a sign of things to come with the current management team. The future is bright.
  18. Would be nice if they would play a better mix of videos. More classic rock, for us older folks.
  19. We rode in 8-1 and 8-2. What a coaster!!! Took 25 minutes from time gates opened until we were I'm the ride. No height restrictions posted, but I can state that anyone taller than 6'6" will have a tough time fitting in the restraints. Bravo, KI. You have a world class ride.
  20. Two Banshee trains out in 10 minutes this morning...not a good start.
